I just wanted to sincerely take some time out of my busy life to compliment you on video review content styling because I was able to immediately detect your truly unbiased, very refreshingly down to earth honesty, moral integrity filled reporting and presentation style 1.5 minutes of watching this very oneplus open review video. I have been undecided about weather or not to get the oneplus open or Samsung galaxy z fold 5 but your video is causing me to lean more towards the oneplus open now.

Hey there, great video. Thought id mention you can "unlock" those apps so that they close like normal when hitting close all. Also you cant move the pages themselves on the homescreen, however you can select all the apps on one page to move at once. Cheers!

I found out how to unlock the apps, thank you However I can't get to move more than one app at a time from page to page 😭 Even when I select two apps, it only allows me to delete or create a new folder 🤷

@@xavier_arthur hmm weird. Maybe the home screen layout is locked? I know thats a setting somewhere. For me I can long press the home screen, select multiple apps, then drag all the apps at once to a different place or drag to the side of the screen and hold to move to next page

If you enable developer options and scroll down to the very bottom, you'll find an option to force apps to be resizeable, perhaps that can make IR Blaster app to go split screen

Great video -thank you. How is the call quality and reception? . I found the Pixel Fold to be poor with regards obtaining a phone signal. I'm hoping things are better with the OnePlus Fold

This. I'm just about done with Pixels and the lousy network connectivity. How is the OPO as a phone?

I didn't go through all of your video but I saw you mentioning about google themeing and the finger prints. The way I worked around for the issue was to pick "natural" from featured colors from "Wallpaper& style".Obiviously it becomes more boaring but you can at least avoid this pink theme for your google apps. The finger print issue, I coated ceramic coating for a car to the surface of the screens except the part where the crease is. Now I have way less finger prints. Correction, the whole phone except the crease, that way I didn't have to put my case which makes a lot thicker. It will avoid minor scratches. Hope it helps.

Great review! Love the details. I don't have the clear all apps bug, but encounter other annoyances. But above all, the battery life is incredible!

@@xavier_arthur the launcher customizations such as not having the transition animations on the main screen like the cover screen. Not having more live wallpapers. A few other things I can't think of right now lol but still my favorite software considering the speed and smoothness.

It is not a Bug. Notice the lock icon on top of these apps? Tap it. Also in the settings you can customize which apps should be locked this way. This is giving you Control over the apps that should stay open when you hit the shut all down button.

@@garygoodwn535 sometimes the messages notification still appears even though I replied with the bubble/chathead. It's every so often but didn't happen until this recent update. I'm also annoyed with how alot of apps run at 60fps unless I put the display on high refresh. But that's said to be fixed in oxygen 14. Battery is so good I leave it on high most of the time. .. If you still plan to get it use 232D for an extra $100 off on top of the other trade in deals. I was never one to really use wireless charge cause of how slow it is, this phone is the fastest charging phone I ever got my hands on. I don't think you'd be disappointed at all. What do you look for in a device?

Decent review - as seems to be the norm these days, spend waaaaaaaay too long just discussing the tiny differences in the camera. Disproportionate to the amount most average users will use the phone. We aren't all content creators!

Whhoooaaa it opens wide..wonder if it can be adapted for the osmo gimbel. Nite mode and That xpan mode is epic

You can turn off the locked apps in battery optimization, that way they will close when you close all apps

Dude! The pink hue is from your wallpaper! You have the setting to change the icon and accent colors to your wallpaper colors. Change the wallpaper or change the setting.😂

15:22 you have some apps that are locked so if you have an app that you don't want it to refresh you can lock it so you don't miss where you left off

One of the best videos on the One plus Open! I just ordered one today. Have any recommendations for slim cases for this device ? And any recommendations for device holders in the car ?

I can't recommend any device holders because my existing ones work, so I haven't explored other options. With respect to the phone case, I am using the front piece of the case that comes with the phone and for the rear piece, I'm using from a case I purchased on Amazon. The reason I'm not using the front piece of the case I purchased on Amazon is because, the front piece that comes with the Amazon case has a built-in screen protector cover, which I don't need because the phone comes with a screen protector already and having two screen protectors is a waste of time and reduces touch sensitivity. However the the Amazon case has a great rear protection for the camera, so I only use the rear part of the case. I hope this confusing! @@jim814it’s hard to find a decent case for this phone. I’m using the one that came with it. It’s ok better than nothing but if dbrand or otterbox etc don’t make any I will just go case less like I did with my fold

So about the recent apps that don't close after close all is that those apps are lock from clearing tap the three dot icon and press unlock booooom you're good to go🤘

Be careful: I placed my OPO on a counter while open, turned around and heard a thud. Turned back around and the phone was on the floor and the inside screen is completely broken.

@@blackpurple9163 I actually got insurance on it two days before it happened. I filed a claim and waiting to here back from them. (The only options on the insurance site to file a claim for a OP phones were Nord options - who the hell would pay $12 a month to insure a Nord???)
