Those copper heat pipes usually hold a partial vacuum, so as soon as you cut them open, the water that can already be in vapor form even just slightly above room temp, will re-condense into droplets usually somewhere else in the capillary wicks of the heat pipe, that you cannot see. A year later, it is in very good condition outside of a few scratches, I see no battery deteriorating, and optimal performance. Not necessarily.. while it is extremely dangerous to bend those batteries due to the risk of shorting the internal layers - a bend like he did is not 100% guaranteed failure Still wouldn't want to use it after that point though just in case

i bought the Nord just a couple months ago before even watching this video, but i can say that the structural integrity hasn't been an issue for me. i'm almost hyper paranoid about handling my phone if it's over €200 so i have been keeping it in safe hands. i also love the OIS on the main camera. the macro lens sucks and is basically useless but i never really take closeups. all in all, i love the Nord as my main phone
