Thank you. i followed your steps. Great video. Phone is working but i recommend just not to use the suction cup. i loosened the screen just by pulling at the suction cup. everything is working but there is a small gap now on the lower side of the phone where the screen is a little bit loose. i dont think its a problem but for people that want to avoid that: dont use a suction cup and try only to clip it open by the downside like shown in the video. it is not necessary to slide a plastic pik all around the phone. And i loosened the T1 Torx Screws with a T2 Torx Screwdriver. Its possible.

Thank you for the video. Replaced my battery today, 5 min it took me to do it. Couldnt have done it without your video. The weird thing was that the battery i pulled out was bendible and felt a bit like gel in a plastic bag, like it turned partially into liquid... Glad i replaced it

Hey there! Great guide! I used this on my one Oneplus 5. But one thing that is missing in this and other guides. What are the screwdrivers called? Would be nice with names for both screwdrivers. I had one screwdriver for the internal screws (philips screws), but the smaller one you called torx at the end, for the first and last step, opening and closing the phone, I did not have that one. I used wrong screwdriver for that, which I should not do, but luckily my screws didnt get destroyed.

So I did this like 1 month ago. First days the battery seemed pretty Okey. But pretty quick it started to drain battery faster and faster. Last 2 weeks it has been just as bad as my old battery. Could it have been because I bought an original oneplus battery? Today I ordered a new battery, but I'm trying third party this time. Anyone has any experience or thoughts about it?
