I think he does that to make sure he gets a grip and doesn't throw it away

Once he ages he'll learn to not hesitate in between catching and throwing

I hope so. I kinda wonder if he might be testing himself on some of these throws tho.

Once he quits relying on that arm and stops winding up before he throws he’ll be great. He’s so tall and moves so well he has outstanding range but to many routine plays are WAY to close at first bc he takes forever getting rid of the ball! Take some off the throw get rid of the ball quicker and use that cannon when you really need it and he’s got great potential. He can start by getting rid of that 12.5-13 inch glove he uses prolly half the reason he can’t get the ball out of his glove. I know he’s got big hands but he don’t need that deep of a pocket at short!

He needs to get rid of that hesitation. I know his arm is incredible, but at some point it will cost him some outs.

Because he's a 5 tool player. Pitchers also need have good breaking pitches

Ok I'm so tired how that talk about his homeruns. And arm well let's see how many bad throws how many strikes to hits or homeruns he can't hit over 220 peroid

He makes a lot of bad throws, often has trouble getting the ball out of his and double pumps almost every time. Other than than.....
