People don’t realize how much of a miracle lord of the rings truly was. Everything had to be perfect, the location, actors, music, script, and somehow... it did. They took a huge risk making the films but it all came together in a way that doesn’t even seem possible. DEFINITELY the best movie trilogy of all time.

Somewhat related: My friend hired Sean Astin via Cameo do to a birthday greetings video for her daughter, and he filmed it from that exact same spot in the garden. And the best part was it wasn't just one of those 30-second standard canned responses video, he really went into anecdotes about his own kids and growing up, and the entire video was over 5 minutes long. I get the idea just from that, that he's a really nice and generous guy.

Watched it in the theatre Sunday. All 3 in their extended versions. From 9.30 to 0.00 with 1½ hour breaks between movies.

I can't believe my ears whenever I hear Liv's voice. It's unbelievable that she speaks the way she does. If elves were real I'm 100% sure that's how their voice would sound.

I’m not sure people realize how special this really is. I’m not sure if we’ll ever see a production of this caliber ever again. Many studios have created epic movie series but none of them hold a candle to what was accomplished on these films. 🙏🏾

I’m sad that David Wenham aka Faromir wasn’t in included in this meeting. David doesn’t get enough credit for his role as Boromir’s younger brother. So great we got to see more of his character in the extended versions. And how fabulous he is with Frodo and Sam and expecially nice to Pippin. Both brothers had a great relationship. I’m missing Hugo Weaving aka Elrond and beautiful Cate Blanchett as Galadriel too 🥲Howard Shore total respect 🎼🎼🙏🏻🙏🏻

They gave parts of themself into their work, and it really shows. thats why so many of us feels the same way, and i for one keep re-visiting the movies just so i can feel it again. Its like seeing a good dream on screen. Best trilogy ever made 10/10

What I love the most about the cast of lord of the rings, is that none of them look like your typical A-list Hollywood celebrity. They don't reek on that fake glamour, they look like genuinelly good, normal, down to earth people you can actually listen to talking without feeling your brain cells deteriorate.

I noticed during Covid a lot of celebrities were dressing more casually. There's nothing wrong with dressing up though imo. You should watch the Princess Bride At Home movie if you haven't, it's a bunch of A list actors acting it out at home with cellphone cameras and their kids and pets as costars but still respectfully done.

Normal actors: will say a few lines in their scene LOTR actors: will fight, ride horses, learn new languages, sing, and break their teeth while making history for generations
