I’ve had an M3P for 20 months now. After taking a few trips in it (longest was 250 miles each way), I just got back from a trip where we had to use our Highlander Hybrid (needed the space). I now realize how much more relaxing the autopilot features are in the the M3 - I arrived less stressed and tired after 250 miles in the M3 vs. 90 miles in the Highlander. I kept teasing my wife & daughter that “I can’t believe I have to constantly steer this thing”; I really dislike driving a gas car now.

Great video, Brian - i like your channel. We own a 2020 LR Model X and we love it. In my opinion it is by far the best family suv. My wife felt in love with the X during our testride. And we tried several cars like Audi SQ7, Mercedes GLE or GL. After riding the X they felt like Oldtimers or dinosaurs. But we also needed to fix the front axle shutter after 9000 kilometers. I’m a owner of 2018 Model X and love the Panoramic windshield . This makes driving more fun and is great on scenic road trips. Nothing can match this and is a major reason that I purchased the X.

I have a Model Y Performance with Upgrade. First. I wish I had installed the Xpel ultimate STEALTH. Incredible look. The performance in this vehicle is fabulous. Every day I feel as if its Xmas, and I am 66 so thats an achievement. Ive watched Tesla for some time and decided that the Y was my entry point. Thank you for your videos and positive posture. You offer a tremendous amount of information, in an entertaining package. Dont stop, keep producing these. Thank You much. Oh .8 mi from my home 8 v3 superchargers just opened. It just gets better and better. Pubhish a soft manual that includes all you have learned.

I dream of owning one of those 2019-2021 Model X ravens, they seem like unique and amazing cars!

Love the videos! We love our new 2020 X! The only issue that I have experienced so far is when I talk on the phone via Bluetooth the people on the other side here an echo on there voice? Did you experience this? Any tips or tricks on how to fix it?

Beautiful car! And color! Has your screen ever had the black death screen. Our model x 100d at only 17,000 miles went out last night and we tried resetting it and everything won't come on at all. We made a mobile service apt.

We like a lot of things about our T3DLR, but no small thing for us is the Silver Metallic paint, sadly no longer available. It was one of the first with AWD and one of the last with that paint. If that color were available for Y, I might be a buyer except we don't need a second car and don't want to give up the 3. The main reason to want a Y for us oldsters is the easier ingress-egress, although so far we have adapted well enough. Also we got in on LTE free for life of ownership and included HomeLink. FSD 3.0 scheduled to be installed this week by Mobile Service (another plus for us since nearest Service Center is 90 miles each way in some ridiculous NJ traffic. ;-)

Perfect video for me, I’m waiting for my LR+ Model X. Ordered a while ago, they must be pretty production constrained on these. Does anyone know what the horsepower on the LR+ is?

Great video, question for you, Tesla owners complain about service center and problems making appointments in the app. The frustration of getting an appointment date 2 to 3 weeks out. What has been your experience with that?

i1Tesla you got it buddy. Let me ask you since I am 6 foot six and you are tall as well. I have a model three and it’s OK but a little cramped will I have more leg head or hip room in a model Y? I know the model X is much more comfortable but how does it compare to the model Y?

Hi there the back problems you het in low cars like s is that your knees are higher then your pelvis this Will give more pressure on your lower back. The backrest Will also Push against your lower back. 2 forces. This results in back pain. With SUV type cars you dont have this problem. Nice vid!

So just ordered a model x performance, I really don’t want to wait anymore and should be taking delivery in august. You said you should hold off on the performance, would you trade yours in when the new one comes out?

I haven’t gotten a Tesla yet but I am in December or January. Waiting for the money to come through. It will be a Model X long range. I have no use for Ludicrous mode, the roads here are in terrible condition. That’s also why I’m getting the 20” wheels instead of 21” or 22”. Kind of haggling between Midnight Silver and Blue Metallic for the paint.

At the end of december my model x lr+ Will be delivered, seeing all the things you can do in term of wrapping and accessoires i fear i Will spent a lot more money on this haha. When you wrap the car do they also wrap the inner parts?? Oh and IT is a very big car when you drive in the Netherlands

I decided on model x last minute (2 years ago) . Mainly because my wife have me her blessing :) I have chronic back pain . I am so happy I have my X. I’ve also noticed a big difference between the S and X. It’s so hard for me to drive any other vehicle . It’s even become my work vehicle ( building materials , cargo , you name it ) Only regret not waiting a year for the added range . Great vid !

Doesn't tinting the windshield reduce visibility at night? At my age I've lost a great deal of my night vision. Did you ceramic coat your white seats? It's said that that will prevent them from staining.

Well Brian, how about something completely different, I am thinking about a 2020 Tesla Model X long range only as my 2023 Ioniq 5 is not repairable, took delivery of it in Mod Oct 2022 and 7th service visit and a few changed parts modules, still does not fast DC charge. So next week my dealer recommended that I contact Hyundai and get a new replacement and as soon as I get it I am trading it in for a low mileage model 2020 Model X, reason, range, quietness and comfort, the Ioniq 5 we have drives like a dream is quiet and such a please to drive on long trips, but as you know that does not work and I am fed-up with Hyundai Ioniq 5. Was considering a Model Y but still have not found a model Y that was quite and the ride is still to rough.

Love my Model 3p. Still want an X. Test its 0-60 in normal ludacris mode (no battery prep, launch control ect)

Brian, I cannot agree with you more on Model X perf in this vid. We bought Raven Model X perf Nov 7th last year and put another 11k on top including the PPF/Ceramic coating/Chrome delete/full tint. The funny thing was as a family we debated if we should put the money into stocks (at around $250) or pay out the car. We could have enough to buy 6 model x perf now. lol But we have enjoyed the car very much except the initial pain of fixing many little things. Big gap between trunk and rear bumper (I could put my whole thumb in and the delivery center said it’s up to the spec….). They adjusted it eventually to be half a thumb and said that’s all they could do. I ended up working with the PPF shop and their bodyshop to remount the bumper to have a much aligned fit. 
Plastic seals inside the door broke and protrude out of the front doors. falcon wing rubbing the chrome trim to ruin the wrap. Broken wheel well plastic trims within the first mouth. interior noisy rattling pieces. Most of them got fixed in the first couple visits. Now the seat belt roller is making a lot of noise during driving. 

 Overall, we love the car and especially the features we can open the doors and trunk without touching the car which is such a great feature during the pandemic. (also no need to touch the gas gun to fill gas obviously). My wife literally cannot live without this car now and my twin boys love every bit of it especially the entertainment while waiting for my wife’s grocery runs. highly recommend it as well. Yes, the performance model is expensive and that full power was seldom used with the family but even sport/ludicrous mode was more fun instantly without waiting for ludicrous+. That breaking 3 second barrier over the LR model imo is money well spent and making me grin every single time.

Have you looked into Tesla offer kit? seems quite similar. Tesla offer kit is about 75 dollars more (hansshows has 15% discount via your discount code).

How did your wife’s back do in the Y? I have back issues too and found the 3 to be uncomfortable (a few years ago)

I just took delivery of my model X. I had a model 3 performance before. I love the X except for a few things that the M3 had which are not in the X. I do not like having to use the Key FOB. The X I have is the raven performance as well. It is fast in the sport mode. Ludicrous mode is not faster then M3's sport mode. I have not tried Ludicrous plus. Disappointed that the head rests are no longer adjustable, and that the spoiler is fixed. Delivery from the Tesla team at Dania Beach Florida was mediocre at best. The car was dirty and had ink stains on the rear seat. I do believe the M3 is built better than the MX.

At 90% charge and averaging 70mph on the freeway, I have yet to break 210mi. Per tesla, nothing wrong with my battery. What they quote for max miles is based on flat roads and at 50mph.

Why did you not ceramic coat the seats when you got it? You never would’ve had any issues with seat discoloration had you done that. Going forward do it immediately to your interior. You can DIY that for $50

Elon has said that plaid is first coming to Model S, so this might mean Model X will have to wait a bit.

If you want to use the ludicrous mode without damaging your front half shafts you have to set the suspension to low position, even by doing this the service life of the front half shafts and tires will never exceed 20k miles…

Isn't it illegal to fully tint the windshield? I want a Model X, but it's too expensive, the registration fee would be ludicrous.

Varies by jurisdiction. In PA no amount on any window above the lowest minimum is permitted. Not really needed here except for vanity and the factory tint may be close to the legal limit anyway.

I believe you are correct. I think what Brian meant by clear, is it has no tint, but is just protective film on the glass, so legal as it add no tint to windshield.

I got my model X (long range) last August. My favorite thing.... THIS CAR JUST KEEPS GETTING BETTER!! ALMOST EVERY SOFTWARE UPDATE GIVES ME A NEW FEATURE!!! Who else make a car like that?? My least favorite thing? - The driver side door fights me when I get in out out. - surly there is a software fix for that.... Please?

help? i have forgotten simple electronic science i have created an extension cord to charge my car far from the home but my charger shares the same circuit with laundry dryer sometimes my girl trys to do laundry when cars plugged in and i want to add an LED or meter to cord near the dryer so when cars plugged in not charging car theres no indicator but when the car is charging an led or meter shows voltage...... maybe it late but my brain is not working and this used to be kindergarten for me in past lol
