15 years ago I remember showing my dad this video, and us being amazed together. Now I'm in my early 30's and dad passed away a few years back. Crazy that it popped back up into my feed again. It is a nice memory.

Oh my. You're missing out. The constant changing of the seasons in temperate climates is magnificent. The sights, sounds and smells vary so much from one season to another. Today, I can smell spring in the air and see some trees just beginning to bloom. Humidity is up, and I can see winter saying goodbye.

This is beautiful. I love the effect of having the sun peek in and out, it gives it a real sense of warmth. Also love the natural sounds versus music and the pumpkin on the stump. I agree this would make a lovely screensaver.

Did this give anyone else a very soft sense of sadness in a way? Particularly with the fact that we watch a year go by in a video posted 15 years ago? So much can change in that time, so many loved ones lost and loved ones gained. We're so different now than back then, yet at the same time, I have a feeling the location shown in these images hasn't changed much. 1 or 15 years later and that shack is peobably still there, same as these trees. One can watch the same course of seasons go by as if everything else that happened in the last 15 years was just a dream.

The transitions are seamless to look at. You've got whatever it takes to piece everything together and make sure nothing falls in the end.

My life has been pitch dark for some years. This gave me hope that someday spring will come and I will be happy again...

I feel so gifted that God has blessed me with a sound mind and body and always feel that people who don't have it, have a right on me, that i do for them which they can't do for themselves. For me out of the years 2017-2024, 2021 was the longest year, then second 2020, then third 2024 (If 2024 was 2023’s pace it honestly would have been April by now) Then fourth 2018 Fifth 2019 Sixth 2017 Seventh 2022 And finally eighth, the fastest 2023

@@superepic4026 2023 was so fast, it was obvious, and proves that time has been sped up at different rates and years. Curiously, the order you show the longest to the fastest years, looks fairly accurate to what I experienced the last 7 years. I do not think there might be something to this, I now know there is.

@jimk8520 very true. Think about those two years of covid lockdowns and how most people will say those two years never happened. Nothing worthwhile really happened to tje average person except fear and gaslighting. I'll admit I can't really recall much from the end of 2019 to about 2022. 2023 got better once I moved away from the big city and went back to my roots, got a new career and found my wife. Time seems to have come back to near normal for me.
