I understand all too well what she says about having no self worth or boundaries. I was sexually assaulted at 17, raped at 18 and sexually assaulted again on two other occasions. I am now 64 and have lived with the shame and all those same feelings she described in this interview. You live with so much fear it is suffocating. Only with therapy and doing the work to heal have I been able to get through all of it. My heart and my upraised fist goes out to all the people out there who have suffered through it. And I hope they find peace however they can. 🕉

Finding Jesus is the greatest healing. At the age of five, and eight years old, I KNEW the boundaries had been crossed, and did everything I could to avoid being near my abusers [a babysitter, and a 'trusted' good friend of the family]. We're not victims, we're overcomers, and we create our own boundaries. We are worth the value we put on ourselves, and not what others put on us.

Some are ignoring the interview entirely and forming an opinion with no experience in the matter or any matter similar to what this woman went through. I am fairly certain she did. She is part of the Epstein Netflix documentary, which I thought began filming after his arrest. I know it was not speaking to authorities, but based on this brief interview, and stories from other victims, sounds like alot of these females were threatened to keep quiet. If I remember correctly, one of the first victims who reported Jeffrey years ago in the 90s (Maria Farmer), said she moved far away from New York, I believe to Colorado, and after a few years started to get some unsettling calls. In my opinion, more girls felt comfortable speaking out after his arrest, and now that he has died, continue to do so in order to put Ghilaine behind bars.

@@danusdragonfly6640 , I've just had an issue with the phrase grooming for a long time...I used to own a Sex Offender Treatment Program for about 25 years....I never suggested my clients to use the word "groom"...it really minimizes the impact of one of the worst variables in Child Sex Abuse...it destroys trust in others.... So in my program it was always "lured, lied, manipulated or conned" my victim...not groomed...that word was developed by academics to "pretty up" the lingo and make it more palatable for offenders to integrate...but it also minimizes the impact....everybody "grooms" others in some fashion in social interactions...it dosent connote malice. Sorry for the semi rant...lol

The woman who was doing the interview she puts words in to the woman who wrote the book so I’m listening to it and the woman says one thing in and then the interviewer redefines her words and then the woman agrees to that... so a lot of it I’m listening to the interview or interpret which is very dangerous, I want to hear the victim own words

I felt the same.. she’s begging the question and it’s already validated in the actual Question. There’s no doubt that Jeffrey Epstein or Ghislaine Maxwell are guilty, but as a reporter, journalist, that is not an effective way to gather information.

The interviewer wasn't that great, but at least the story is out. I am following the Maxwell trial. Mainstream news is barely covering it. I am hoping Maxwell spills the beans on Bill Clinton and company after she is found guilty.

What 're you talking about ? Interviewer is well Known journalist and woman is semi literate Amateur who probably paid someone to write The book . She can barely put a sentence in order. Interviewer tried to help her .

If you’ve never been molested, count your blessings. Truly. Mine happened from about 2 to 4. From then on, bad decisions. You block it out as a kid TO SURVIVE. Then as an adult it rushes back and disbelief sets in. If lucky, or blessed you get help. If you’ve never had a man or older boy force his ... in your mouth, you’re not likely to understand the cascade of trauma that follows. No, you generally don’t make good decisions. I’m 58 now and mostly recovered and understanding. And a bit envious for those who never were violated as a kid. God bless us all. And I do mean ALL.

What makes me angry and confused is that he got away with this stuff for this long!! They could have nailed him in 2001 if the vanity fair editor has let the article go through. Instead, the former editor of VF blocked the article upon eptstein's request. That would have saved so many other women from abuse.

There is no real sufficient punishment for people like these and those who support them or who participate with them in the horrors these young girls and women suffered.

Ghislaine should just be the door to expose all of those wealthy power brokers who participated in this lifestyle without repercussions (to date).

I can feel and understand that she is awfully conflicted, and sadly money won't resolve that in her life. I hope the book does, but in addition I hope she getting the therapy and support she needs to heal the pain that's binding her.
