Hi,honorable masters, I am Dominique from Mauritius and have practiced Wushu Feng Sau style, Taoist kung-fu and Tai Chi 24.I had an open-heart surgery at 17 yrs old and I am grateful to Kung-fu techniques which brought reviving in my body and mind.Iwould like to follow the Qufu kung-fu on line.Please give me further orientations for the intnet training.Thanks much.

Feb 2016 was the first time I watched this video. March, 2017 I spent a month at school and a few years later, I went back for 9 more months. Can't believe so much time has already passed. Easily, my favorite place in the world.

I don't know exactly when... because it takes time to save money... and because organisation is a very important thing in such travels... But I'm sure of one thing : I WILL join the school. It will be an honour to be a student and part of the family.

esta canail you can thank the Beloved Bruce Lee for doing that he broke tradition and as the years of going by they have opened up more to the Western world have opened up to teaching people that are not Chinese because there really isn't any secrets and they have come to realize that it's not hurting their culture it's expanding their culture and they know that some people respect the aspects of their arts and their cultural so they're being more open and realizing that there are people out there that like their culture and they're just more open about it the idea of teaching Outsiders that started with Bruce Lee breaking the concept of we only teach within the Chinese you know same thing with the Japanese no longer been secluded within the art they're basically going outside the art and teaching everybody that's willing to learn because they realize now it's not a hindrance to the style of art that they're teaching there are some people within the Chinese Japanese Korean systems and so forth that still teach father to sign father to sign keep it within the Japanese but Bruce Lee started at and that's the reason why I lot of the Chinese felt that the respect that he broke tradition but also cause plaque within the community of their sacks and so now with it being 40 something years later I guess maybe the more than that they more open to teach they don't have a problem with teaching people outside the Chinese they've learned that we're like they are sore more acceptable and they're allowing it so you can thank Bruce Lee for that

Yeah this is the teachings i want to be a part of I hope this will still be a thing in 7 years when I’m old enough to move to China and Lern the art of Kung fu I want to train at qufu temple that’s why I startet doing takewondo so i can lern martial art bacis and I’m working hard on flexibility and to stay fit and I’m learning Chinese as well I’m 12 years old and I’m from Denmark I’ve don karate for 6 years so I already know some martial arts it’s been my dream to become a Shaolin master sins the day i knew about it/ two years ago I’m a big fan of Chinese culture as well I’m just saying keep up the good work.(LONG LIVE QUFU SHAOLIN TEMPLE)

Awesome video...... I trained in Jujitsu for a couple of years in my 20s but dropped out to pursue other things. I really regret that now..... I love watching all martial arts videos and wish I'd never given it up... I feel too old now to start over.

It's never too late, there are many people who start doing new things in their later part of their lives (like their 50's or 60's, some of them do it even in their 70's and 80's if they are able to - this doesn't apply to martial arts only, can be anything -), and all of them I've seen so far didn't regret a single minute of it, the only thing they'd have regretted is if they didn't do it after all. If you end up not doing it, it will constantly bug your mind which eventually leads to an unhappy life (well, not totally unhappy, but at certain times you can feel like there's something that's been missing from your life). I'm 19 now and have 0 experience in martial arts, but Kung-fu has always been one of my interests and I want to start learning it one day (I know I could learn it in any country nowadays but it's not the same as the traditional one). My problem is the financial part, that's the reason I'm studying at university now, to get a decent job later and have the money to travel to China one day, this is what gives me motivation. I'm sorry for taking this long but I feel like this is how my point is complete.

I don't do kung fu, but it motivates me train in my sport (ice hockey).

Wow so cool! Really a nice school to see. Maybe i will visit this school when i`m going to China when i am 18 with me friend. We are going to the shaolin temple in Henan first because he wanted to visit it but this school will be definitive on our list!. But first i am going to Wudang Shan first next year :)! kazumi chan If you want to learn Shaolin Kung fu you should propably see if you can find a teacher in your area, since it is difficult to travel abroad. Of cource it would be better to travel to China to train in Kung fu if you can afford it. There is only one Shaolin trained teacher in my country (with a licence to teach Shaolin Kung fu) and he lives 500km away so, hopefully you have a better luck finding a teacher! Cheers!

From what I can see via this video is a normal Chinese training school use the name of "Shaolin Kung Fu" to gets that glory and started earning money in this way...

Bian Lei I think the name is down to the lecturers being Shaolin monks or former shoalin monks, but I did recognize the Shaolin forms at the beginning so I think this place can have the right to use that name. Even then at a proper Shaolin temple I doubt you would see women practicing and so this place seems quite special in that respect.

+WarriorOfTheHeavens right but i also see wudang forms and while i do understand that wudang and shaolin do trade forms you would want to learn from the source. it's like going to a chinese restaurant but seeing a brazilian as the cook (for example purposes ok?). The cook may be trained in cantonese cuisine but would will it be original?
