The Royals aren't going to trade Bo Bichette this season because they have a real shot at making the playoffs. They are six games behind the Guardians and if the lead shrinks they will definitely keep him. Miguel Rojas is a natural shortstop and a lot of Dodger fans want to see him at short and Mookie at 2nd base or in the outfield.

Dude Vlad to the Nats would be soooo dope. Such a good fit and Vlad sr played for the expos 🤩

I like the idea of Conner joe for My M’s if we get a bat if Pittsburgh falls off he is having a great year so far

It would take a lot to get Vladdy or Bichette. I wouldn't do Rushing plus Lux for Bo. Toronto just moved a much better catching prospect for Varsho and Rushings value isn't close to what Gabrielle Moreno had at the time. I don't think they do this considering they have Jansen and Kirk at the catching spot who are two of the better defensive catchers.

the Reds would have WAY more interest in Taylor Ward, Robbie. Reds legit have one regularly playing RHH OF and that's Steer. Otherwise, it's just platoon bat Stuart Fairchild. Jazz's flair (while nice to see) has masked the fact that he's an average baseball player. Power/speed is nice, but when you run 30% K rates, can't play any defense, and have a long list of injuries behind you... not sure why anyone would give up huge assets for him, beyond just the name recognition. Maybe I'm just missing something 🤷‍♂

A top 100 prospect doesn’t necessarily mean it’ll be pricey. Prospects in the 80-100 range will probably have less value.

For padres I think it’s more a lefty pitcher starter or relief guy

Out of all 30 Minor League Systems this season only 2 systems have more than the 25 qualified hitters with a wRC+ over 100 that the Royals have and that’s the Yankees with 27 and the Mariners with 26. The 5 systems that were considered Top 5 before the season started? 1)Bal-23, 2)CHC-19, 3)Mil-23, 4)SD-19, and 5)Det-24. Their first 2 Picks in each of the last 2 Drafts are shining with 2022’s Cross recovered from the Tick Borne disease Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever (look it up and it perfectly explains Cross’s struggles last year) with a 139 wRC+ over the last month along with Cayden Wallace having a 136. 2023’s first 2 picks are both High Schoolers in Full Season ball at 18/19 years old with Mitchell having more success but with Wolters and his electric stuff getting just as much hype. In the high Minors Chandler Champlain dominated AA on the Pitching side so well they have already called him up to AAA. The hitting talent in this system is the better side right now with guys like Vaz, Figueroa, Roccaforte, Dickey, Nivens, Werner, Charles, Wilson, and Jensen along with the other 3 I already mentioned would all be of interest to other teams around the Deadline but there are talented pitchers there too. Don’t count the Royals out if they really want to make a move.

I’ll pass on DeJong. Gimme Jazz instead and slide him back into that SS role. Also ya trade Kenley. We got Liam.
