OneTigris - this winter tent design is awesome. It can be used for a hammock or a cot, big points for that. BUT...this tent could be sooooo much better. You're already more than half way there. Take a page out of the Snowtrekker design and ship this tent with a lightweight aluminum frame. NO ONE is doing this, but your design here is almost perfect to accept a lightweight frame. Yes it will be more expensive, but far far less than what a typical 7-10oz sunforger canvas tent would sell for. Basically a Snowtrekker (without breaking any laws) in rip-stop nylon. I guarantee you will explode with orders, especially from Canada and northern USA, if you make some slight alterations to this tent style (a bit more wedge type, and a lightweight aluminum frame) you will have the only nylon wedge hot tent from a trusted manufacturer on the market today. Obviously use your current profit margins, but if you could try to keep it under $500 approximately, wow that would be a game changer and completely disrupt the hot tent space. And arguably it would become the hottest new sku on your list of hot tents. I honestly hope you take this humble suggestion seriously because the first to begin manufacturing an affordable nylon wedge hot tent without a cumbersome center pole at a reasonable price point will explode. This is desperately needed in this space.

Forgot to mention - the lightweight frame could be a separately priced option. It doesn't have to ship with it, it could be a "multi interchangeable lifestyle function" tent...call it a MILF :)

My question would be, does the price of the product include sales tax? But I never got an answer from the company or the site itself.

@@tygeron3145 They're too busy designing a another tent option, a wedge style with lightweight poles..hopefully. But to answer your question, sales tax is rarely included in advertised pricing in North America. So simply add approximately 7.5% if in the USA or 12-15% (5% in Alberta) for Canada depending on which state or province you live. If you live outside of NA, look it up, it's not that difficult

I'm wondering, if you put down.a ground tarp to act as a floor, how big would that need to be? Looks a bit more than a 10 X 10?

Perhaps no interior line on top because it’s designed for a hammock?

Hi , would it be possible to pass a ridge line inside the tarp to help support it in case of heavy snow ? Thanks for the video

Looks good but the downside would be that you have to have trees to set it up

True, but if you have trees it's amazing!

@@matt_mountains Hi! Not sure if you'll see this but if you wanted a tarp to act as a floor, how big would the tarp need to be? It looks like it could be bigger than a 10 X 10 & if your tarp grommets can match something in the bottom to knock in with pegs, so much the better! Is it water proof? What about inner condensation?
