Actually, one thing that bothers me related to the coins is that the purple coins actually give you one tenth of a coin. It's really weird.

As a completionist that scene hurt 💀

People have said it already. They leave a little bit that's lacking so that you can buy the game to complete and fulfill it. It's like those adverts for those mobile app games where the person attempting to complete a level is often playing REALLY bad and you're left yelling at them to make up their mind in choosing one path or the other.

You remind me of a friend of mine lol "Gotta get every coin!!!" I keep telling him "We'll have 99 lives before the end of World 2 anyway!!"

It's actually a brilliant ploy. Those who suffer from OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder) will subconsciously pick up on that and will wonder why they feel so on edge. They'll be compelled to purchase the game so they can play it for themselves and make sure to collect all the coins. Lol just kidding.

My least favourite thing about it is that it looks like there isn’t player collision, which means no head bouncing, probably to grabbing, no chaos

They may have left one coin to get people to think they can do better so more people buy the game, it may infact be purposeful so people feel more or less obligated to collect every coin so they buy the game
