Hi didi, please can you give a road map for May 2025 too....about scholarship (when window will open for may 2025), when to start studying, etc. It will be really helpful. I am thinking to start from now itself but major problem is that should I wait till September for Schweser to publish the material. Or I should start now? What should I do?

Hello No you can’t…You have to be unregistered for any CFA exam while applying for the scholarship

have got scholarship and applied January 2024 so when i applied it i registered August and when got it, wanted to change and register February 2025 and confused how to change it so may you help me how to register on February 2025 please.

If you are registered for August …You will have to wait till the deferral forms for that attempt open (late July/early August). Only then can you pay the deferral fee and change it to February. P.s. if you have applied under scholarship and change your exam the chances of getting a scholarship again will go down significantly

hey failed my feb 24 and just thinking to give my 2 nd attempt of cfa lv 1 in nov 2024 i have invoice for this and i can pay right now but i am confuse between nov 2024 and feb 2025 attempt. can you pls suggest which attempt should i choose and any tips or advise which i should follow .

Hi Tisha, This is a decision that only and only you can take. The only thing I’ll say is be honest with yourself (because only you can do this right now). If you feel you were prepared and were pretty close to passing and you have the mental energy to go for it right away then November is not a problem. If you feel it’s drained you too much and are just very stressed then taking a break and coming back stronger in Feb is an option I would consider

Hello Nandita, The amount shown to you will be in dollars and then later you get notified by the bank as to what conversation rate has been used. For now taking 83/85 ka rate is a FA ur judgment. Will try to make that video as well

Take a demo lecture and see…If you feel your command on English is not that great then I would say try to opt for teachers from within india so you get a mix of Hinglish.

Mam My Mom had registered today as early bird registeration it shows aprox 1290USD but in checkout page we allowed to pay only 354USD(includes GST). And recieved mail for shedule ... when we have to pay the rest and how .... and my mom had already got schlorship

Because she got the scholarship thats why the fees is this. The payment will be only one time…Double check to see that you’re registered. Check your mail and account & mail the institute if you’re still not sure because it’s best to clarify this

There will most likely not be another window for the Feb 2025 exam because the scholarship results are expected to come after the Feb registration closes. The dates are not announced but the next scholarship window is expected in September…only miraculously if it’s preponed well enough will you have a chance for Feb 2025

NM stationary & Mahakali Book Centre Has it. I would prefer 2025 but you can use 2024 also (just always double check the index and when the update version is out)

@@manassoni2703 yes Most likely you should get an early bird even if it’s not accepted because that’s that’s case for the other scholarships. Having said that considering student scholarship is not that famous it will be better that you also drop a mail to the institute to confirm.

Hello, The moment you register you will get access to the CFA institute material. In case you want more summarised versions then you can use Schweser notes which for 2025 will be available around august. In Mumbai it’s available offline and they also sometimes deliver to other cities. Else you can try Amazon as well

Yes you should be able to however I can only confirm this once the dates are announced. Registrations dates and exam dates for May 2025 are yet to be announced…Will be out by June/July. So we wait for that then decide

There are people who really need the scholarship and still don’t get it (even with brilliant essays). So even if you wait it’s a big gamble…Yes you’ll buy team for early bird payment but you have that option now also so that is null and void. I would say if you can afford it and have the time and bandwidth do study now then go ahead with February and try your luck on the scholarship for later attempts. Having said that, if you feel like you really need the scholarship then without a second thought go for it and try your luck

Hello, Yes…999% you won’t be able to do so. Unless by some rare miracle the scholarship dates change (very very very very rare chance)

There honestly is no figure that will be right…It totally depends on the role, the company, the perks, the placement cell and so much more. On a very rough and highly prediction based average we say that a CFA Level 2 fresher can get upto 7-8 yearly…So you can take this up maybe a tad bit if you have an MBA. But again can go down if it’s a small company so keep that in mind

early bird registration is a time period in which you can register for 300$ discount for feb 2025 attempt the last date of early bird registation is 9th july if you register before the deadline you will have to pay $990 for the exam (excluding one time registation and taxes) after 9th july you will have to pay $1290 for the same

Early bird registration is a specific period available in every attempt during which you can pay $300 less than the original fees. For Feb 2025 the early bird period is 9th May to 9th July so for now the feed is aprox $950+ and after this it will be come Aprox $1,100 P.s. this is not the exact figure but very close numbers

Hello, The best way would be if you could join a class first so you have an idea of how you’re liking the syllabus and are able to cope up. Yes it would have an investment involved but would save you a lot of time and further money in case you’re not interested

24 months before graduation you can give level 1…So agar apka 3 years ka course hai to aap level 1 2nd year main de sakte ho. Waiting for 2025 books would be best but abhi start karna hai to le sakte ho just ek baar jab 2025 ke books aye to check karna ki kuch missing to nahi hai

Hello, I haven’t been able to see the August date but if you’re seeing it for the access scholarship or women scholarship then great. Having said that a certain percentage of risk will still be there because if it’s august end again the results will come late. Also by chance you don’t get the scholarship then it’s just paying the same early bird fee

For access and women scholarship you don’t need it. I am not very sure for student scholarship (might not be needed during application, but since it’s a direct application it might be different rule) Would recommend you check with your university or the institute directly

Hello, Fees will be the same irrespective of the payment method. The registration is hell at confirmed immediately but It usually takes around a month to confirm the invoice and in case that fails then the registration might also go

Helloo Yes you can wait till then but I would recommend doing it before…That’s anyway the last chance you have to use it so you have no choice so might as well do it a little before. Be extra careful of when the august 2025 registration will close (that date is not yet announced, but make sure you use the award before that date for sure).

Won’t really justify cuz I understand it seems very expensive. But here’s what I feel… We also need to see that knowledge wise we are learning the core of finance in this price (the same thing in MBA is double, triple the price). With regards to the job, the struggle to land a job is there but if you’ve done your CFA well and are good at your work then eventually your salary will be where you want it.

Comparing sales and finance is just baseless. I just feel both are different fields, and a salesperson needs a lot of connections and time to build their network, whereas CFA provides u with the certification and also the knowledge which is globally accepted and respected.

Also, you are mentioning "TOP" salesperson and also saying barely " any education." I don't think a top salesperson won't be smart enough. They might not need certifications to prove themselves, but they do need experience and expertise in socializing, and I really think being well educated is very subjective and that's really okay.

Even if i become a charterholder, does the ROI actually make sense? Its definitely worth it if your company is paying for it, but how does it make sense for someone to get the charter and paying for it by themselves?

You will be eligible 24 months before your graduation. So in 2025 you’ll be eligible for CFA Level 1
