tbf if garou ran into any hot-headed S-Class in his early hero hunting days he would've been toasted ( amai mask, flashy flash, tatsumaki, atomic samurai, drive knight ) he had a pretty lucky run for his character

SPOILER. Metal Bat man, after the anime S2 I instantly read the manga even after the Monster group event then Garou, I dont quite see Metal bat anywhere maybe very little. After all those events , theres new Hero group kinda and Metal Bat was there for like 2-3 pages. And now story about assassins village which focus on the flash guy, sonic, blast and his old friend. man

I was genuinely hyped when I read it and I couldn't wait for it to be animated, but it never captured the feeling I had reading those scenes because the artwork is fantastic. The animation is clearly stilted in this episode.

It has been stated by the opm manga author that if the last shot by metal bat would have hit garou his brain would have splattered on the ground

Metal Bat stood his ground when fought agaisnt Sage Centipede which is a million times stronger then this version of garou, Metal Bat would've grown stronger due to his fighting spirit anyways if we go by your false "IF" scenario, Garou wasnt monsterizing at this point of the story so he was fodder. the only S-Class garou would've beaten right now is Puri Puri, Tanktop, Genos and Pig God, he gets 0 diffed by the rest also the excessive use of the skull emoji immediately tells me you're litteraly a toddler with 0 media literacy so keep crying lol

The webcomic didn't become manga. The manga is an adaptation of the webcomic which never stopped being drawn. It was a pretty faithful adaptation at first but it diverged significantly after Garou was introduced to the point where it's basically its own thing. The anime is an adaptation of the manga, so all of the big differences between webcomic and manga is going to carry over.

Fun fact there is a vr martial fight happened in the manga where both garuo and suriyu are on the same level🤞🏻🔥

The low rating is probably because Season 2 did not do this Arc (Monster Association) much justice. If you read the manga then you know. But it's not the Studios fault for this they were rushed and pressured because of how well Season 1 did.
