I'm new to this channel, but you are awesome! I love your recipes :)
I made this! It was delish! And so easy!!!
Laura, I have been watching you since 2011. You have taught me so much! I have recipe from my Hungarian grandmother for Chicken Paprikash and I allllllways wondered why she said to brown the chicken thigh before adding the onion when most recipes say start with onion and oil then add chicken. I’ve always just went with it but your explanation for why YOU start with your meats makes perfect sense. 12 years of watching your videos and I am still learning! Thank you so much.
Ooooooo beef stroganoff is one of my favourites! Yours looks even more delicious than the one I make. I’m definitely switching over to your recipe! Yummmm!!! Thank you again, my dear Laura!
Looks delicious. I like that you used ground beef. ❤❤
Yum! Making this tonight!
I'm with you, Laura! I *always* cook my ground beef before I cook my onions.
Hi Laura, I just made this with ground turkey. It came out great. Thank you for your instruction!

Hi Laura, I just made this yesterday and it’s really good! It didn’t take much time to make and doing it all in one pot was great. I don’t usually do much cooking with ground beef but this turned out really tasty!!!! Also tasty is your chili recipe which a made a few weeks ago! So delish!!!
Looks Delicious 😋 ❤
Love it!
Yummmmm looks delicious ❤❤❤❤❤ will try soon
Yep,,, I will be making this dish for my Family This week👩🍳😋💗🦩💗🦩💗🦩
Fantastic video!
Definitely a recipe I want to try and make 😊
Your very quick and concise...DELICIOUS
A perfect "fall" dish, (although N.Y. is leaning summer this week)😮. I love how you marry all the flavors then hit it, with the piece de resistance, sour cream! I think its time to bring out the "bib" as I am drooling over the final "presentation". Once again Laura, you knocked it out of the park! Can't wait till Feb. 27th for your new cookbook to arrive❤.

That looks yummy.
YUM!! Making this!! ❤️❤️❤️
tried it, love it.♥️
Awesome recipe
Thanks!
Yep - gonna be making this! hehe.
Looks yum
I ALWAYS brown my ground beef before onions/sofrito and don't understand when people do it the other way around, so I'm with you, Laura 😋
Thanks for the video
It's a fantastic idea to add the onions after, just in case you need to drain some of the fat liquid from the meat. I will do that from now on. Thank you. I will make the beef stroganoff during the week. Delicious!
La❤ra You are the best Just love your cooking. 😊😅 Thank you. Joe too. 😅😊
I can't wait to try this 🤩
Yummy I will try it
Your right about using steak. Last time I made stroganoff it was tough. Will use ground beef next time. Thanks Laura.
Absolutely LOVE beef Stroganoff. Grew up on it. Funny enough I too, add mustard!!
Hello. You make beautiful videos. It's always interesting to watch you!🎉🎉🎉
I made beef stroganoff last week. Almost the exact recipe.... I love it. As a child it was my favorite dish and my mom used to make it for my birthdays. My mom loved that since it is so simple and I love it. Thanx Laura. We love you too.
Love it
Oh happy day… a new Laura recipe
I've had good success using chuck roast and of course you have to let it cook till it's tender but it makes a delicious stroganoff. Now you've made me hungry for this lol.
Yes I'm gonna make this. I've never seen it with ground beef
For using sliced beef, just go the Asian meat marination route: slice beef fairly thinly and add baking soda (1% of your meat's weight) to it to tenderize, then when you sauté the meat, it will brown very beautifully because of baking soda effect.
So, I made this for dinner tonight. I had ground turkey in the house along with homemade chicken broth, but otherwise it’s all your recipe. It was delicious, just as you promised!
I feel the exact same way about browning the beef alone before adding other ingredients! I typically use 80/20, so there’s a lot of fat to drain off, and I try to remove all of it. Therefore, I always brown the beef before I add anything else in to minimize flavor loss. Thanks for yet another fabulous recipe!

right! one time I seasoned my meat really well and was disappointed when I lost it when I drained the fat!

@@DanielaSotoC I learned that lesson the same way.
I made this recipe for dinner this evening. Thank you, Laura! It was delicious, however, to anyone making this at home, make a note to yourself if printing the recipe from the website, that the website recipe does NOT mention the mushrooms, wine or sour cream. I went shopping for the ingredients using the website recipe & consequently made the recipe without the wine & mushrooms. I did happen to have reduced fat sour cream in my fridge so I used that. It was delicious without the mushrooms & wine. I'm confident that most people will love this! My younger son is the pickiest eater & ate his entire bowl. My older son went back for a 2nd bowl. Enjoy!
I try to engage a lot here. There’s been a drop in views for her channel and that makes me sad. Let’s boost her engagement folks, keep commenting, sharing, liking, etc. Where did the 3.8M of you guys go?

I'll tell you.. THE ECONOMY. I've been watching Laura since 15' and I was broke. I learned how to do a lot with next to nothing, fed my large family and ate good. She stopped cooking cheep and cheerful home foods & started making Soba noodle soups & indian foods. I don't have money to buy that stuff nor do I have the desire to learn to cook international cuisines. I always watched this channel for delicious, economical Italian meals & it's not that anymore. It's international and expensive.. Let's face it, people are REALLY STRUGGLING right now working 2-3 jobs trying to pay they're bills & everyone is feeling it

I think the recipes have been downward-sloping for a while . The French onion pasta is a new trend but definitely disgusting. I think following trends instead of providing quality recipes is the problem. Hope it comes back to the previous glory!

I think ppl are seeing dishes like this and see they’re Americanized versions of it - that’s not a bad thing. I’m a racial minority American and I love these one pot/homey/casserole type stuff, totally! But there are times when I’m also trying to find authentic versions of cuisines that were simplified for the old ruling American class to be acceptable. I just watched a similar version of this beef stroganoff but the chef prefaced the video saying it was gonna be a “elevated version of Midwest mom stroganoff.” And that’s good to hear for someone who is foodie but sometimes just wants a good ole hot dish.
I made it, but I didn't have the mustard 😮, and it came out absolutely delicious. Only one pot to clean is the best part as well as how quickly it can be put together. I'll be making it again for sure. My husband had 4 helpings 🐷

That’s my favorite part of this one pot a keeper
Yummy!!!
I’ll try it, my stroganoff never comes out so I’m going to give it one last try, thanks Laura!
This is KINDA like her homemade hamburger helper, which I made once a week for like 2 months. AMAZING!
Yummy !
Hi Laura! I’ve been following you for years and because of you, I’ve become the great cook in the family. Question, how many ounces of mushrooms are in the dish? I didn’t see it in the written recipe?
Yourrecipes are sssso good...going to make the stroganoff ....have made your beef stew and it cannot bebeat
Laur, you didn’t say “hi guys” at the beginning of the vid! 😢 I love that part! 😊 You’re the BEST! ❤
I really like how you have a recipe that is both reasonable cooking time (not too long), and you don't use so many pots. I always joked my dislike of Rachael Ray was it was 30 minute meals but 45 minutes of cleaning.
I have been hungry for Stroganoff 😋👩🍳It’s Thyme to make this Dish😜👩🍳💗🦩
The reduction on the sauce was great and I almost forgot the two rules you never break, egg noodles and sour cream. Thanks for this update. Cannoli's next?
Definitely agree on holding off on O&M especially on 80/20 but like you said for a quick dish like that I don’t have a prob with 85/15 or 90/10 saves time….No drain! I have done venison burger!!
If people don't want to add wine (or dont have it on hand as in my case often), add a little water with some white/red wine vinegar or lemon juice to it. Just a tsp to like a 1/4 cup water.. but I don't know I usually don't measure but vinegar can be strong so careful with it.
