I think king is in a unique position to called as an anti meta deck due to the colors purple and black. I saw builds with animal kingdom pirates with 10 cost kaido big mom and other running fast ramp to just slam 9 cost kaido and to heal with 9 cost big mom And I saw the board swarming build with the page ones and ulti combos and finally the removal control style This deck can really do it all which I love about this leader

Yea I love this leader. There are like 4 different deck builds I came up with this leader. And I'm having fun with all of them. Versatile color combo and leader effect

I think there might be potential with Jack and the 10 cost kuzan and just playing a control ramp build that just KOs everything without wiping your own board

Honestly there's two good 10 Drop Top Ends at King's disposal: 10 Drop Purple Kaido and 10 Drop Big Mom and Kaido

I love kaido with o8 feels so nice but king is just at a weird place where I feel like this leader could be crazy but it’s just like who will figure out that puzzle to make this deck perfect because I feel it has all the power too do you guys agree or am I just over seeing this deck

The first decklist of the 6-0 player shows Jack twice at 3 copies each. I saw the deck on another page where the searcher Queen was at four copies.

I was trying to run the 10 drop kuzan with jack and kamazo to control board but I think it’s just too slow and it’s hard to keep up with rp law and lucci who can establish good boards decently fast. Felt like just as I was getting the kuzan and jack going I died the next turn because I couldn’t clear the whole board. I think you need to run a heavy reduce/removal style for the early and mid game to be in a spot to drop the big bodies and close out in the end

Heads up I would post the timestamps in your description without the @ in front of the timestamp I thik that prevents the player from breaking up the chapters. Great video!

Rather than the OP08 Kaido, why not the ST04 Kaido that KO's a 6 or less, and gains rush for 12k? It removes 2 bodies and establishes a bigger body than Black Kaido or Linlin

I'm so glad you said this list is mid. Because it's SO BAD. It bricks nearly every game. I really don't think it's a real list. And if it is a real list, it probably got recorded wrong and actually went 0-6. It was a card shop tournament, so it's not impossible for the record to be wrong.

It's moments like these when the game really sucks. You have a time with a couple of Leaders (i.e. King and Marco), that everyone is rushing to figure out. As a result, old decks and simple leaders can flourish at the beginning of the meta so no deck is technically "dead". Also, most cards are affordable because no one knows what's needed and what's not to make these leaders work. Finally, this is a great moment many don't get to experience in real time unless you play exclusively on the sim. Bandai needs to catch us up
