@@drk32003 I think the card is really solid in that deck because you can search him up and potentially protect him from attacks with cards like Oh Come My way
i would say it should be case by case per month. This month for example would be a good month to do 2 since there is the bans and restrictions coming on the 12th but it might not be necessary to do 2 in September. 1 before and 1 after a set or some product would make sense.
Well personally I think 1 a month is good enough, feels like you'd just end up repeating most things, aswell as the fact so many other creators do them all the time I'd rather see more news and gameplay

I think a market watch on the 1st and 15th of every month would be perfect. The 30/31st are usually one/ or two days off the 1st so I think the 1st of every month is ideal.

Ya, not much has changed, the cards that I see people move around is how many 2k Counters they want, between 10-12, Bepo VS Ain VS Bon Kurei, and then not everyone likes to run Chopper, but I think it's pretty solid. Not a whole lot has changed. (EDIT: I would check onepiecetopdecks.com for any new tech people might be using)

Gecko moria is not getting hit people. Without it the game loses it's top 3 best black decks and black is the only thing keeping Enel from taking over with it's crap.

Kinda wish we were caught up to the East because I think all these prices drastically go up and down because everyone knows what they are doing in the East. Then when they announce the ban/restriction, the cards are like in limbo where people can either buy them and be strong with their decks until they get banned here and it’s just kinda meh to me

As rob lucci, if you have a kalifa and rob lucci in hand and a brook on board, i think playing the kalifa would be better so you can cycle and ko with brook to ko the reiju

That vegapunk deck is pretty nasty but I feel the same way with how he was setting his board, it grated at me. He had to be doing it on purpose to distract opponents and get their mind on it.

You should try building a yellow deck where almost every single card gives you a life. I did it and won a game with like 10 life. Super fun and totally changes your perspective on yellow.

I'm not sure how I feel about vegapunk in OPTCG as a player coming from MTG. This may be an incorrect lens to be looking through, but I see vegapunk as a 0 mana creature that has "Vigilance, pay 1 colorless, tap this creature, put a creature with cmc 3 or less on to the battlefield or gain 5 life" ( 2 don/1 land per turn & 4 life/OPTCG *5 = 20 life MTG). It seems like something that will inevitably be broken as more typal support is printed over time.
I think it was somewhat of a fluke for the deck to have made it as far as it did to be honest. If you watch the next game of Vega vs RP Law... *SPOILER WARNING* RP Law absolutely blows him out. But I agree with what you are saying, Bandai needs to really pay attention to what they print going forward as to not allow a very powerful Leader Effect like this to be broken.

I’m curious on winner list if you not playing 5 cost Marco why play 2 izo and 2 whitebeard searcher event when you could play 4 izo which are also counters?
The 6c Oars has a once per turn effect like Marco's where he can prevent being KO'd by an Effect by trashing an Event

Was looking for this been meaning to play him and looking forward to it he seems fun lol
while it's fun to play on sim and trying tons of different decks, most of them won't work in competitive tournament. lots of players on sim make too many mistakes and didn't think long enough to make the best play in their turn. looking forward to next world championship tournament but i doubt that we will see many different leaders other than the top tier ones.
@32:11 I was trying to say that I think the Doffy player should have swung at life first to try and activate the Event Trigger while the board was still full, which would have caused the Luffy player to replace one of his Characters and then use the Gravity Blade Raging Tiger (not Red Roc lol) to get rid of the new body and the other legal target. Couldn't the Vegapunk then have just blanked the attack with the Chaka blocker to make room for the event trigger?
@@aidanklobuchar1798 For sure, but that could have changed everything, because then you don't even have to use the Gravity Blade and you can just develop your board in another way or attack your Opponents bigger characters (he still had 7 Don for a massive attack). Because honestly, in this situation, some big attacks need to start going in to these big bodies or its just over, which is where Red Roc, or Kaido, or even Boa would have been really nice

I lost to a puffy twice using my main by luffy deck! I was so damn happy because it's the secondary deck that I've been keeping on the side and I also managed to buy the st18 already which includes all the upgrades from the op07 version! Just really glad we're in a healthy state now with the metas!

Will you do a Katakuri Deck Profile with the new st20 support? If he really will be a good deck, I would love to try him out but I can't find one single deck profile with the new support
I plan on doing a deck review of all the new Starter Decks coming out in OP08 (ST15-ST20), but I'm going to wait until we get a little closer to their release.
