@@hungjuryadept3363 I feel like the only serious dubs of the series are the French dub (in the early 2000s anime was already an established medium there so they didn’t have to turn it into a kids show and aired it fully uncut on Virgin 17), the Funimation dub and the German dub, the others are literally 4kids but in other countries

Giorgio Vanni, such a nice song, excellent music, voices.... Outstanding. Don't care about the images and if they do or don't match with a saga. Best thing italians do is music, many times they don't follow canned commercial music from other countries (fortunately). If you happened to be too much influenced by a specific rythm, try to empty your mental thought of how the music should sound, then critics will be better.

For all Italian children born in the 1980-1999 era, they are idols known throughout the country. There are so many, but I suggest you listen to the other two openings of One Piece, the 3 DragonBall openings and the Pokemon ones (especially "Oltre i cieli dell'avventura"), since these are the most famous ones. I don't remember from my childhood, but in other shows that 4kids covered like yugioh the script was the same in Italian, censorship included. 4kids sold their censored versions to other countries, that's why they removed Japanese text in their animes, so other countries could translate it in their language if they wanted to.... Only to not do it themselves in sonic x. The only difference between 4kids and italian bought 4kids is those openings and the voice cast obviously. But the English vas on 4kids were very good at making the most out of their comedy focused script rewrites, so the other versions just end up being worse.

Not just this opening, but and other two. And then the original japanese ones. But also, we never dubbed the 4Kids dub. One Piece Italian version came out in 2001/2002, dubbing directly the original version.

"Arrembaggio" in English is translated with "to board a ship" so I think that "all'arrembaggio!" Can be approximately translated with "let's board!" Or, even if in this case the original meaning is lost with "on board!", in italian "a bordo! (Della nave). Ps. I'm italian
