He is similar to Yondu from Guardians of the Galaxy films. He did bad things but he is redeemable. He is decent in the live action show. And why do they deem him as weak? He seems to have awesome powers. He could be a powerhouse if he put in the work. I know he is supposed to be a gag character of sorts but he could be deadly and unstoppable. So it is weird how people discard him in the One Piece universe.

"Don't look at me with honest eyes like that! I'm just a cheap, worthless scumbag, ya know! You can't just take my word!" so freakin funny how honest he is!

@@hunterofdarkness8329 His particular power is actually very interesting to think about in terms of "awakening", considering it's very clearly defined (removing individual body parts from himself that can float and be controlled to act independently) and has precise restrictions (the unattached body parts have ro remain within a certain size, as well as in a rather small radius of his feet or else he can't control them and they become numb and useless, his feet also cannot float) - would an "awakening" remove restrictions (like him being able to control his individual parts regardless of distance), give him new abilities (like arranging his body parts in new ways or allowing him to use other's body parts to unattach and control, mirroring Law's abilities) or a combination (like removing the "size" restriction when it comes to controlling his body parts, allowing him to literally atomize and rearrange himself, Dr. Manhattan-style)? We probably won't ever see it, but applying a comparatively novel concept regarding DF's to one of the earliest, most straightforward Paramecia DF's makes for fun mental gymnastics

At the beginning of this series Buggy was a meh guy now he became a character that everybody loves. I'm gonna be pissed if they ever think of killing off Buggy.

Let's be honest, when Buggy and Luffy are together, its pure comedy 😆 🤣 😂. I can't imagine this show without Buggy now

I love how even if Buggy isn't a hero like Luffy and many other characters he still has emotions. Like for example the 2 times he reunited with his crew he's shown to actually care about them. Villains or other pirates would just be indiferent if one of their men died.

Impel down was the funniest arc in one piece hands down. I remember bursting out laughing whenever buggy appeared. Although i like wano animation, this type of animation just fitted the show so much more

@@king94689 I read the manga it's about the style and tone of the comedic scenes nowadays in the current manga > anime conversion. Yes the fight sequences are amazing but feels like humor scenes executed like this are a thing of the past. One Piece still the best ofc.

The irony is that out of all the treasure they got from Moria Nami let Luffy have that thinking it worthless. It also goes to show how masterful Oda is at foreshadowing, he thought this scene up 4 arcs back.
