They do tours of around 1500 to 4000 people in NA, 1500 to 5000 people in the EU, 10,000 to 20,000 people in Asia, and 35,000 to 55,000 people in Japan

Great reaction!! Yes they’ve been going for almost 20 years now and are absolutely huge in their home country Japan. About 7-8 years ago they sat down and decided not to just rest on their domestic success but to try to blaze a path for Japanese artists internationally. So they signed to a US label (Fueled by Ramen) and have been promoting themselves grassroots style doing smaller shows and opening for bigger international acts (Muse and Evanescence on this last tour). . Their musical journey started with punk-pop roots initially and then went into a emo / harder music phase around the time of this video, which is my personal favorite era of theirs. They’ve toned it down some since then as they’ve gotten a little older (a common thing…) but got back to their rock roots more with their latest album. . Yes, there’s a decent amount of production on their official live videos, as well as backing tracks when they play live, but they’re the real deal. Watch some fancam clips and they really do sound pretty close to that. . Finally, would suggest either “The Beginning” from the Eye of the Storm tour, or “Deeper Deeper” from the Mighty Long Fall in Yokohama tour as some other great videos! . Cheers and hope you enjoy your journey into One OK Rock!

They are an experience for sure. I ask my self the same question. Why aren't they well known. I was honored to attend one of their concerts in the us last year. I tell you it was an epic experience. Please check out their live orchestra performances. You'll find out how tight musicly they are. They are exceptional. Also check out their studio jams. They strip down their songs with just acoustic style. Taka's voice really shines in those ones. They really talented. Thank you for appreciating how talented they are ❤

I like them because they don't stik to one genre but try new things. Even theirs songs have small changes as they go. BUT you can always bet it will be a top quality. I would ask for a song but I literally can't decide - there is soooo many good ones.

Everyone needs to experience one ok rock live at least once!I saw them in Toronto last year Its whole different experience being in that crowd, Takas ability to silence thousands of people when he needs was special... i hope to see them live in Japan one day

Amazing reaction! They are definitely a band that you should try react to their lives over their music videos. Their discography is a wide range of genre. There is always a song for everybody. I’ve been to 2 of their concerts in American and they were amazing. They recently were an opener for Muse on their recent tour. Please check out more of their music!!!

Listening to them live was amazing. I swear Taka and the others sounded even better than their album versions. Their energy was insane! I think Kanzen Kankaku Dreamer was the first song I heard from them and I highly recommend listening to that one.

It's always great listening from people who actually know what they're talking about. You're a real mucisian when you don't just talk about one thing exclusively instead talk about the band individually and as a group together. Great reaction sir!

Been an OOR fan since 6 years ago, and finally got to attend their concert this last Sept. All I can say is I pity those who never know them/heard their music til this date.

The truth is in the intro, there's all the band members (except Taka, he's the singer). Tomoya is on the drums, Ryouta is the bass and Toru is the guitarist.

Yes it is absurd that Americans find this band opening up for people and playing to hundreds. They go back to Japan and fill outdoor stadiums with 100,000 tickets. And well deserve it. One of my all-time favorite bands, along with Band Maid and Wagakki from Japan.
