Oh the band name stands for 1 o clock. When they were younger, 1am was the only time that they could afford studio time. So it’s an ode to that

Oor sings all types of rock. They go from pop to full on screamo rock. Their music can not be tag. Taka lead singer is out of this world. The band in total is epic. This band plays for 50000 people stadium to an 800 people capacity bar with the exact same passion. They are the real deal. Please join us in this oor rabbit hole. I hope you enjoy them as much as we, their fans do. Thank you for your reaction ❤

.. I am a 90's alternative rock/grunge kind of listener (jane's addiction, beastie boys, garbage, local H, dink & pantera & such) and in my opinion, this song is the heaviest OOR ever wrote, esp, sounds wise. their song writings were toward much alternative emo punk in a beginning, then moved to poppy I assume when they started aiming bigger crowds worldwide outside of Japan, reaching out to the audience who wouldn't even listen to rock music .. and very recently slowly coming back to rock again. although their music is much lighter (mainstream) in my taste but I do listen to them the most nowadays once I got to know their music. .. their sounds & energies are the cleanest in my opinion.. thus addicting (& they write really good lyrics, too ... they are not a "look-at-me, we-are-cool" band, they make the 120+% efforts to reach to the audience' hearts thru their performances.) .. and if you ever want to check their music, check their live, esp, in Japan .. I am glad you noticed their existences .. you won't regret it.. ;)

They are all in their mid-30s, all of them, but lead singer are married. Taka lead singer Toru guitarist Tomoya drums Ryota base. The song is the soundtrack for the mobile video game of Monster Hunter now. They have been in their world tour for over a year now. They were in the USA last year around this time. I would recommend live performances, though I believe they are a pain due to copyright but if can react to them that is the way to go. We are Waisted nights Stand out fit in Mighty long fall Cryout One by one Clock strikes Lier Pierce Are a few of their popular performances I recommend Take what you want Is one of the most heart breaking performances of them. Thank you for your reaction ❤❤❤

Once you go down the rabbit hole of one ok rock you’ll realize Taka (lead) can literally sing anything. Like he has Adele covers of hello and easy on me that he absolutely crushes. For a male and not even a native English speaker your jaw will be on the floor. As far as what’s next, everyone should experience their live performance of we are. Specially the dome tour video. Welcome aboard!

The reason the monster thing is in there is because Monster Hunter Now is a video game and this is the soundtrack for it… Agree with the other commenter to check out their earlier stuff if you like heavier music! 🤘

I don't hate pop music, I just don't like most pop music. There is some very good pop music. Now you have me curious... I have already shot a reaction to Take Me To the Top Live. That one should post tomorrow.

Taka (the lead singer) in his teen years was in a boy band, so most likely he developed a pop sound, they released alot of pop songs in the last few years to make themself be known outside of Japan, but Before that they only made rock/soft metal music. Taka's favorite singer was chester bennington but he was infuenced by other groups too, like metallica. I suggest you to watch them only perform live they're way better.

I’m glad you liked them! This song is so good. I love the guitar rigs and Taka’s voice as always. The genre thing, it really depends on the era/album/song, you know, after 18 years on stage and in studio, they did a lot of stuff xd they have a few songs that lean into metal but they are not usually that heavy. the last album really pays an omage to clasic rock, but their previous abum was really leaning into pop rock/pop/electronic even (on the record, on stage a bit more rock), the previous album also had quite bit of pop, more pop rock, pop punk. So there was 2 albums that weren’t heavy at all (still great tho)(but rock in general wasn’t that popular last few years, wasn’t it? I think it’s coming back now and I love it) - before that, before 2016 they were doing mostly rock, punk, leaning into hard rock, all that, ocasional raping on early albums, some screams, irregular drum patterns, all the good stuff. But they also have beautiful ballads, Taka can scream but he also can sound like an angel. The thing is, they can open for Muse, Linking Park (they were supposed to tour with them), and for Ed Sheeran at the same time. So I would say they are versatile xD And you mentioned Maneskin - OOR did meet them at some festival recently I think, so I really do hope for a colaboration xD and they mentioned possible colab with Yungblud that would be great xd

also, the name is an japanese-english linguistic joke. it’s 1 o’clock. you can call them ‘one o’cklock’ if that sounds better to you xD (they used to practice at 1am, bc it was cheaper to rent studio in those hours, when they were 17years old kids in 2005) (‘L’ and ‘R’ makes basicaly the same sound in japanese) ONE O’CLOCK ONE OKROCK 10696 (wan-o-ku-ro-ku) (when they come to english speaking countries ofc everyone reads it as one okay rock, and that’s okay too xd any of those are okay xd)
