All of his builds have the same theme and look even though their completely different cars. So sick

I love when Larry visits these guys. They make the most elegant cars Hoonigan features. The attention to detail, the high quality materials and uniqueness each of their cars carries is amazing.

This car is over the top.

We built a few speedsters and actually also did the reverse going from a speedster to a cab (as parts were missing) We had a theft recovery, they stole all the speedster components from the car, it had 450 miles on it, 94 car. I beleive the prices may be a little elevated, unless when he is speaking 50k, it's for all the parts. What i remember the cowl end piece is major difference and the end piece is sold with an actual porsche part number. I owned all generations of the speedster from 55 to 94. The prices may have gone up since then but not sure if that much. Dash quarter trims, dr glass, trims windshield, bubble with mechanism and latch, some of the parts were interchangeable with 89 speedster. It's a cool build. Really liked the 300 MB. You have a good eye

Larry and guys, huge huge fan. But I don't think this is what Autofocus should be used for... We got maybe a few seconds of footage of Larry actually shooting the car. The rest could honestly just be spliced right into any other Hoonigan video and not be noticed. I think this channel should be used to showcase Larry and the cars he shoots but also how he focuses on shot and shot dynamics and the actual photographing experience itself. Just talking about the car like any other Hoonigan video just seems to be a waste of what Larry has as a resource to share his art.

You made the old style 1989 to get the windshield bolted to the 911 with pipes in the door opening. Porsche 964 has a more of a L bend ear to get the windshield to the car and then another mount in dash. The higest price I have seen for a frame complete is about 9000$. The glass you get for about 2500$ but the frame is the hard piece to get. But looks nice.

So what you’re telling me is that there’s a chance to make a lot of money if someone could create a good Speedster conversion kit that was built to the exact specifications as the factory parts. If you designed a kit for the 964 and 993 that included the Speedster windshield, frame, side windows, trim, weatherstripping and Speedster fabric top along with any other components you could probably sell quite a few to people wanting to convert their Cabriolets into Speedsters. In this day and age with laser scanners, 3D printing and advanced manufacturing technology the right company could probably manufacture a kit fairly easily. As long as they could get all the factory parts to measure and scan so they have the exact specifications for each part then making copies would probably be easier than it was to originally build the factory pieces back in the 1990’s.
