So we did some more digging on ailment spread, and it seems like as though the spreading is limited to the ailments you have applied. They can't create more ailments out of thin air if that makes sense. This is not written down anywhere and someone had to ask the devs. This doesn't really matter and it's just food for thought. The mechanic ingame is still insanely strong.

I agree that it is still very strong. It requires you to have at least good single target DoT because of the limitation, but since you want good single target for bossing anyway it really is an non-issue, it just doesn't multiply a few stacks to infinity by repeatedly spreading and 'bouncing' between mobs.

Just rolled a warlock over the weekend after watching your video. Thank you for sharing your builds.

Prolif is honestly one of my favorite build types. Single target sometimes suffers but that's decently easy to fix.

I'm very much looking forward to cycle 2.

i was doing a build with spreading aliments with also using the Wheel of torment staff. Felt insane for clearing but the single target was terrible

I'll echo this statement. Wheel is my favorite new unique, but the build has issues with single-target damage.
