Gotta hand it to the Japanese; they came up with this kind of bait out of necessity for high pressured fishing ponds. They first used left over soft plastic bodies and strung crystal flash through them with a needle. This stuff is going to catch on to finesse fishing scene like a storm real quick.

So I saw Geecrack post about using a Core Wacky Shot on Cue Bombs. I’m going to try that this year. I have mostly been fishing the dice on a drop shot with a short leader and have luck on the toughest days on pressured waters

Oh also! I had a lot of good action throwing the imo kemushi on ringed gamakatsu 4/0 hooks that just allows for a little more range of motion on the fall, etc

Yeah it really shines on a drop shot. Dont overlook the split shot rig. Its like a free rig without the sliding weight.

Those things aren’t any better than any other soft plastics. I’ve fished with them in Japan & in the US, they’re more designed to catch anglers in the US than they are fish, just my opinion. Best to stick with proven cursory baits. Can’t fail with classic senko’s, cranks & rattle traps.

When you see a fish turn down a senko and then bite a dice you may think differently. I will do a video proving it. Do what you have confidence in. Experimenting is part of the fun.
