I agree with Griff on the IxI…it is a great bait!! Great movement and colors!! Casting distance is above avg too! I remember my first ever “click” lure on the cast was a Duo Realis rozante 77! Another deadly fish catcher!! ☺️

Shad baits were my most productive technique from the kayak this year! Carried me from late-summer through mid-fall (on the Ohio River) when nothing else would get bit. Haven't tried them in the winter yet, but will definitely try it this year!

Ben please u and Griff do a video on using a shad bait with a osp whip sinker rig. Im very interested in this technique you've spoke of. Interested in how its set up and how it effects action, depth, etc. These baits do smash here in the south thru our winter months. You guys are the best jdm gurus in the states. Awsome videos and products. Thank you guys.

I haven’t seen a bass in weeks. Only thing I’ve caught lately are pickerel… which I hate! Been super tough here in NJ. Tried every bait I own, and thrown them shallow, deep, shallow>deep and vice versa. My lakes deepest part is only 12 ft, so I don’t know where they are, or what they want, but they just aren’t feeling it. Been so frustrating

Cold is under 40 degree water. 55 degrees and they're still hitting buzzbaits and spinnerbaits in the Midwest. I actually wonder how many people who have done these "winter bass fishing" videos or articles actually have fished areas that water actually gets colder than 50 degrees.

Winter is winter… doesn’t matter if winter is 20 degrees or 80 degrees it’s the temp difference that makes it winter. It’s not a competition

  • @TheOtherPinkMeat

@@gstixfishing9746 your video is for your region, but not for all regions. Winter is a season, as in I can head to Florida and catch pre spawn fish on Okeechobee on a frog in "winter". So you could ultimately do a frog or buzzbait video for "winter" fishing in South Florida. People don't think of palm trees and 75 degrees when they hear the word winter. They think of snow, ice, freezing cold. Huge difference in winter fishing when you're in shorts compared to cover alls and thermal underwear.

@@TheOtherPinkMeat it’s not a cop out ur just not smart enough to understand…if the water is 89 degrees then a month later its 55 that’s a 34 degree difference and that’s what makes it cold. Just because it’s not 28 degrees doesn’t mean it’s not cold. It would be like me saying if ur water doesn’t get to 90 degrees u aren’t really summer fishing. That would be dumb of me.
