I agree nobody ever understands how hard it is to lose a love one in such a tragic way. You wouldn't be in the best mood after that

I swear the voice acting in Watch Dogs is phenomenal. Not only it's good but it feels real and genuine, I've replayed it a number of times. This goes with npc as well, since it's sometimes overlooked or overheard. Police dispatches or gang members calling in reenforcement if they're taking heavy fire from Adien, some sound desperate or confident. Shooting the cops in the knee just to temporarily neutralize them, you can definitely hear them cry in agony. The list goes on, but i don't want to put too much for right now.

One of the Best Open World Crime Games ever. It sucks way too much about how Ubisoft has treated this franchise. It honestly breaks my heart.

The fact that WD1 allows you to complete some missions in fully stealth approach without using gun at wall make me love this game so much. Like all those hacking skills throughout the CCTV and cameras in the game to reach the target with zero kill for some mission is possible. Of course, using gun is inevitable in some missions. But if always playing through missions in full action and loud bangs, it's kind of defeat those stealth purposes in the game.

2013: while in Los Santos and Blaine County, a retired robber living in a Rockford Hills mansion meets a repo man from Chamberlain Hills and traches him about the heist game and also one trailer park discovers his robber friend is alive and soon they clash. While in Chicago, a criminal hacker who suffered a personal tragedy turns his revenge mission into the city’s notorious vigilante that certain people would defend because he’s handling some criminal networks that involve human trafficking. Uses hacking skills from a smartphone to control electrical grids across the city.

Also my gta verse fan fiction includes watch dogs as something canonical and crosses the gta series. Even CTOS is a serious network in the USA and parts of North America. It’s until the events of the hacking of Merlaut Hotel in Chicago and Aiden Pierces actions against Blume from years before has this hacker and fixer turn from criminal mercenary to being the vigilante. It took the death of his niece to turn his life around. It’s canonical that Aiden becomes the vigilante.

Yeah. There was some good concept about Legion: but the execution feels meh. It’s only having Aiden and Wrench in their own expansion pack that makes the game improve a bit higher. Not much but it’s better.

Just finished playing this and I loved it Aiden is actually my fav open world protagonist

Happy 10th anniversary Watch_Dogs! This playthrough is a surprise, but a welcome one. WD1 is one of my favourite videogames with Aiden being one of my favourite protagonists. His stoic and ruthless personality combined with being a vigilante makes him interesting. He reminds me of John Reese from Person of Interest. I'll be looking forward to the entire playthrough.

It's good to see u play this, and I actually didn't know Ubisoft completely cancelled wd in general, I only knew about the part where they stopped updating legion, as a wd veteran it saddens me but despite that I still love wd till this day, me and friends are still even in wd legion, we maybe a small community but we still stand, sometimes even meet and bring new people to the groups.

This game reminds me a lot between Mr. Robot and Person of Interest but with hackers. As for the show Person of Interest, my female cousin got me into it.

Also that line with Nicole calling Aiden when Aiden is chasing Nicky’s stalker is somehow hilarious when Aiden responded her calls for being so over reactive about Aiden “fixing” their family problems and making them worse. With Aiden saying that he’s going after their stalker and Nicky respond with. Really? You’re going after the stalker? And Aiden says yeah. And he says that he’s breaking up even though the line is okay and Nicky can hear the noise. That’s one of the few hilarious lines for a serious story game set in hacker esque Chicago.

Crazy that when I decide to replay this I see a notification that you’re replaying this as well

Started a re-run about 2 weeks ago and can't put it down since, even in 2024 there's not 5 Open world crime games better than this besides the obvious GTA 5 & CP2077. We need a remake with better graphics and the living city mod implemented in the base game. We deserved a direct sequel of what 1 was, if you think an IP lost direction (which WD is an perfect series example of) go back to the first. With that being said, Ubisoft wanted a GTA clone and y'all rejected it because of that catfishing trailer and was so harsh that we got the despicable game of Watch Dogs 2 which in hindsight ending up killing the series.

I just beat this game for the first time earlier this month. Had the game for years but finally decided to beat the game absolutely loved it

I had just played through this again like 2 months ago did everything but the online games and hotspots, hearing through all of the voice logs about Maurice’s life and everyone else in the game is absolutely insane and really brings more to the story

Thanks pro, got me giving this game a chance again after not totally investing myself the first time

I really enjoyed revisiting Watch Dogs last year for 100% . It was a lot more fun than I remember and had a total blast with it. Definitely recommend it if you haven't played it before. Surprisingly the multiplayer is still pretty active today.

39:21 I've been thinking on that for many years and you're the only youtuber to bring up the topic of Jackson's missing father. If you look closely to the computer in the first scene (after the Merlaut's failure scene), Nicky's marital status says 'divorced'. So yeah, her ex husband is totally unmentioned during the whole story. Sadly there are no audio logs from Nicky and I don't think Aiden mentions it in the audios

It was originally supposed to be mentioned before going to the house in Big Brother, there's unused monologue from Aiden where he says the father was a deadbeat and that he made sure the place he picked for Nicky was in a safe neighborhood, mentioning that some guy also grows weed in his basement

I hope Watch_Dogs 4 will have the same vibe as 1

I love Aiden and watch dogs 1, i couldn't play watch dogs 2 at all because i felt like the game was not as serious as the first one. I loved how the first game has a serious crime and vigilante vibe. Aiden personality is great he is like a middle-class batman who kills criminals.

To think...This game is 10 years old and people hated it's insanely heavy story and Aiden as a character, only to realize how fantastic the gameplay and Aiden as a character is years only when Ubisoft destroyed it

It only got hate because the trailer and then the actual game itself was heavily downgraded in terms of graphics, but once people started giving the game a try, they realise how good it is.

Yes this is one of my favourite games defo this is the best in the series

also professional when you do the lucky quinn merlaut hotel raid plz raid the place with a m1014 shotgun because it really makes aiden look like a badass (in my personal opinion) since the merlaut hotel raid is basically the revenge mission for aiden.

The professional is back to messed with some bad guys in watch dogs. 😮🙂
