i love how brutal and gruesome this series is, Kane & Lynch were an unredemable criminals that did lots of horrible things without a care to others and it's still fun to see them carry each other out from the chaotic situations.

This series deserves a reboot, Kane and Lynch are great disturbed characters Such an under appreciated game series, even though 2 has lots of problems I still love it because of the dark camera filmed aesthetic, also the whole headshot be being blurred out only made it feel more disturbing not seeing it, I love 1 except I hate the army section of the game, 2 was way too short and the ending was so damn abrupt and wow the part where Kane and Lynch were naked covered in slashes all over their bodies was extremely disturbing especially cause I was really young when I played it

It would never get a reboot. The series failed and ended up leaving a really bad taste in the industry's mouth. It wouldn't justify a reboot, especially with the success of the Hitman franchise

man i remember this game years ago that i decided to buy it and run through it in one day. it’s cool to see you playing it now.

I recently watched Pyrocinical's video on Kane and Lynch and the plot of both games legit is amazing to me, the utter desperation and feeling of nothing ever going right while playing as two badass criminals who are way out of their league and make terrible mistakes because of it is legitimately amazing, sad we likely will never get a remake or sequel

the Hitman Contracts graphics are so nostalgic

All I really have to say about Kane and Lynch, like I said beforehand... It's a duology you either loved or hated, no in between. I fall in the former category.

Kane and lynch are the two most unfortunate video game characters they have to keep constantly fighting to survive and will never get a happy ending

I remember Pro saying that he'll do a playthrough of this game, back in his Hitman trilogy playthrough.

This game deserves a remake/remaster.

What's rediculous is that this game did not get banned in China while every other game in the world gets banned in china

This along with gta 4 was one of my favorite go to games growing up. No matter how many times I played through it. I would always have a good time

Kane's letter is also written out in the Manual for Dead Men. Actually, Kane and Lynch were broken out in Los Angeles, and the first four missions of the game also happen in LA and Kane and Lynch are wearing "California State Prison" jumpsuits. The "Reunion" and "Breakout" missions also happen in America. One of The7's members who gets shot when they open up the garage door drops an M4A1, and I suggest picking it up early and then swapping it out for the SIG 552 at the diner.

Its interesting how the characters escape poor decisions then make more poor decisions

These two characters have really stuck with me over the years. I've never seen two video game protagonists who are such lost souls, who wouldn't know how to grab the lifeline even if it were extended to them. Their Hitman cameo suggests they survived the end of Dog Days, and that that's almost worse than if they went down with the plane. They're doomed to a full life of this.

this, is one of my first mature games i played as a kid at like 7 or 8 years old, this is the stuff i was playing ☠️ i luved Kane and Lynch dude. that one scene where Kanes daughter was gonna get run over by a whole giant construction steamroller sticks in my head today years later, shii was scary for my young ass, but i got thru it. my luv for videogames started around that time. that and being able to play GTA IV shortly after that was the best gaming we had, everything's different now... here's to hopin 🥂

It is always good to see people invested in the story of the games. 15 and a half years later Kane and Lynch Dead Men feels like an anomaly. A game that somehow evaded being put down because the matter within is just something else and not everyone will digest it. I have a few questions though. Is there a way to get hands upon the manual for Dead Men? All info I get is mostly from wikis so it would help if I find the primary source. Also, I never read anything about the mall. I know that in Fragile Alliance you can choose the mall as a heist location but I never knew that there is a reason it is the way it is. Thanks for reading. Do reply.

The mission about first bank robbery, the driver of a getaway van - I used to roleplay as him in gta online. My theory is that he survived the events of Kane and Lynch and went to Los Santos after 🤣 gateway driver was my main role in gta online as well

Aww man I loved this game despite all the hate it received. Made by the Hitman devs, in fact in some hitman missions like the Colorado map, there are Kane & Lynch Easter eggs such as a guard playing the game. Edit: In Hitman Absolution Kane & Lynch are in the game at the shooting range mission.

Hell, even the way that the ending where Kane “saves” his daughter and Lynch mirrors how Apocalypse Now ended🤩, it would be awesome if there was a tv series or a fan film based on this series alone

i'm just replaying this series after falling in love with IO's new hitman trilogy, and while i can agree with certain technical criticisms or even understand people finding the content too unpleasant to enjoy, i still think this game nails that specific michael mann atmosphere and its characters are appropriately evil, i love high-honor arthur morgan as much as the next person but to actually portray these vicious criminals the way they do in kane and lynch really works in its favor, the atmosphere is just oppressive and everyone is a bastard, we always feel like we're several steps beyond the point of no return, none of us are going to be happy at the end of this, those are "dead men" in more ways than one, thanks for playing dude

i found myself lamenting it a lot, rewatching the scene where you're sheltering in the dilapidated bus stop just being fuckin overwhelmed by swat forces from every direction, it's so uniquely tense and difficult, running out of ammo, hoping lynch will be kind enough to share (speaking of ammo i love the guys with mags just duct taped all over their jumpsuits), it all works so well in spite of technical limitations, i find myself just wondering how much more awesome it could have been with the right time and money behind it

Can't wait to see you play Dog Days.

Always loved this game despite its issues. So much so I’ve always been tempted to get Kanes Mark of the 7 wrist tattoo. Fragile alliance was such a cool Multiplayer idea too. Shame it resulted people giving tons of negative feedback to each other 😅

I had this game when it first came out on ps3 I never beat it couldn’t get passed the dump truck level

u actually can come across Kane in two missions in Hitman absolution cant remember the name of the missions but in one of them u can see Kane in a holding cell and hes writing the letter to his daughter exactly like the start of this game which i remember finding it in the Hitman game and thinking it was really cool love easter eggs from games that are set in the same universe

This game is a huge mixed bag. The first half is good, it feels somewhat fresh. Sure the gunplay is absolutely awful, but the back and forth between Kane and Lynch is hilarious at points, and Kane's plot is interesting. The second half however...Yikes...I won't spoil it for anyone, but there isn't anything that's even worth spoiling, I'll say that much... EDIT: There's a REALLY good in-depth review of both the first AND second Kane & Lynch games by Pyrocynical. Highly recommend it, if you're interested 😄

Also the main character in MP3 is depressed (has psychiatric problems like Lynch but Lynch’s condition is more destructive to people around) both games take places in tight streets corners (not always but it’s the similarity), the camera visual distortion effect, last mission is kinda similar (environment) and both games has ability to shoot while lying on the ground. Even in one mission Max looks like Kane.
