How each part of a season has a completely different feel to each other is outstanding. Season 2 feels so different to season 3 part 1, then part 2 again all new motifs in full swing. Season 4 is another can of worms. It truly is a treat to the ears

This and "declaration of war" are what cemented this show as absolutely master class. And for a score that moves me every time is the far cry franchise, especially 3 4 and 5. the slow drive up to the castle in 4 with the Bombay royale is something you need to experience to understand, the end/main theme for 3 is breathtakingly beautiful and somber but devastating all at the same time. And 5 being set in Montana. the main theme makes me feel like I'm coming home to a friendly small town where it takes place. I'm nowhere near Montana on the map but the music feels like I can step out and walk through hope county whenever it kicks in. Honorable mention to the Skrillex song in 3 when you burn the drug field always get a kick out of me whenever I reply it.

for me the song calling your name was one of the best background music of the entire show

Hiroyuki Sawano is legitimately the greatest anime composer of our time, I would even dare say he beats john williams and hans zimmer

Mate absolutely. His music has taken over and changed my world. I am blown away how no one else is even trying to emulate his style of composing. It’s like nothing I have ever heard before

Like I listen to 100s and 100s of minutes worth of music on this genre and hadn’t stepped into his work because of my blind ignorance. My aim with some videos like this and my future AoT video is to showcase how wrong I was.

No. Sry but no no no nooo. Anime music is so bland in terms of when they play the songs. The so called „anime version“ is just the Spotify version but without a few instruments. They just shoved it in there because they thought „hey that might sound cool here“ not because of any significant signs. John Williams in the other hand wrote music for each and every scene in a movie. Not like anime music which tends to be really repetitive after a while because it’s the same cues over and over again. Sure, youseebiggirl is awesome But anime music in the context of anime isn’t

I get such intense chills every time i watch this scene. Other great musical scenes in season 2 that are an absolutely incredible experience for me are during the Ymir reveal and in the last ep when attack on D plays after hannes's death. So good 😭

Right? I hoped for some bangers in this show but not for the entire thing to be literal fire. And to think the music only gets better as the show goes on and more ques are added to its arsenal

😐 dam… I fell for that. Yeah others said to raise the audio. I recorded this video differently to normal and didn’t normalise it like I would normally. Was too late when I realise the mistake but don’t think it was too bad of an error
