The one tip I have for having a happy and successful marriage is... have a very fulfilling social life (filled with friends, family, coworkers, etc) so you’re not going to your husband to fulfill all your needs for socializing / talking/ sharing etc While I think this is a great way to bond with your husband, not all husbands will be interested in sharing and talking. So that’s why it’s important to have your needs met with a strong social circle so you’re not needing him to be like your girlfriend which may not be in his personality/DNA. Kudos to you if your husband does enjoy doing this activity but expecting all men to want to do this kind of activity is a bit unrealistic imo. But super happy for you that your husband does enjoy doing this with you! :)

This is such a good tip! And one that I learnt the hard way myself after moving to Scotland and depending on my husband for all my socialising needs! Alhamdulillah we have got a better balance now. The thing is, I don’t think a 5 minute conversation is too much to ask for on the daily and if you and your husband have time for that, they it’s genuinely something that I believe will bring every couple closer together. Communication in marriage is key, regardless of whether your husband is a talker or not right? And the answers can be and usually are short and sweet but great for really learning about your partner in a way you wouldn’t organically - now if I expected Waqaar to write his answer everyday, that would be met with resistance lol! He’s not into writing and that’s cool, but yeah I just think setting a bit of time for the two of you every day or every other day isn’t too much to ask for 🤷🏽‍♀️ xxx
