From my teaching journey, to hauls and makeup content (I originally started a beauty blog in my late teens, before IG really kicked off!). Now I post a mixture of beauty, home, Faith, lifestyle and travel content.
As of January this year, my husband and I were blessed with a beautiful baby girl Alhamdulillah! We made the decision not to live share it, but the start of this year will consist of those vlogs and updates...and we have a super exciting announcement coming soon i'a 🥰

What if he has no siblings and lives with one parent? Having my own space is a deal-breaker but what if I meet someone like this, they tick the boxes, we feel right for eachother, but I'd need to move in? I'd have to say no, women have to sacrifice so much whether they're married or not. May Allah grant us the best in this life and the next!
I actually know someone who got married into this situation/set up and it really works for her, cos the couple travel a lot for his work and she can wfh so they get to have time away, but also he’s really grateful that she’s happy to live with his mum. It’s truly a case by case basis, I think if you do end up living with in-laws in any capacity, the respect and expectations need to be apparent from the get go and it’s helpful to look into the alternative and if that works for you guys as a couple and for the in-law(s). If he ticks and boxes and you guys feel right for each other I’d advice istikhara and i’a follow your intuition from there - it’s haaaard to find good matches these days! :( BUT if living alone or having your own space is a dealbreaker, then that’s totally valid x

How to book online appointment with midwife?
I don’t think you can, you’ll need to contact your local hospital and let them know you need to be seen to by a midwife and they’ll help you from there :)

Advice plz how to ask questions ihv tone of questions bcz i had been living in dysfunctional family n marriage scares me so how could i ask questions to him without feeling embarrassed or shy guilty in front of everyone??
I’m sorry to hear about the dysfunctional family, you’re not alone in that and may Allah swt allow you to marry a man who will show you all the joys of marriage in this world and the next ameen. My advice would be to ask these questions gradually not all at once and definitely not infront of everyone. For example if you’ve been formally introduced via an acquaintance and your family are aware of you talking, you could have the conversation over text for some of the questions and then at a meeting where a mehram is close by, ask other questions then, but prep him by saying, ‘I’m serious about marriage and I’ve got a few questions I’d like to ask so I know if we are on the same page or not. Please feel free to ask me questions too regarding your expectations etc.’ hope that helps xxx

Salams lovely ! Do you know your shade in MAC studio fix? I’m trying to figured out if we are the same shade 😅 even tho I don’t have a perfect MAC shade. Also can you do a favorite concealers video! I have pretty back under eye circles. Sending love from the USA 🇺🇸
Wasalaam! I’m so sorry I’ve not used MAC in over a decade!! But if I had to guess NC30-35 (unless they’ve changed their colours). Honestly my favourite concealer ever is the OG Kevyn Aucoin which they’ve discontinued 😭 second favourite is the HNB cosmetics concealer which is a fraction of the price, brilliant shade range and as long as you let it set a bit, coverage is 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼. Key thing with dark circles is though to colour correct, otherwise you’ll keep piling on extra concealer to try and block out the shadows xxx
Did you count calories or not
I was tracking my food so I was roughly counting calories, but was tracking more to make sure I was having more protein and not just a tonne of carbs

Awwh Thankyou so much sis 🥺 looking back now that my baby is here safe and sound Alhamdulillah, I’m so glad I documented these raw feelings because that vulnerability and emotions were so strong but almost a year on they’ve faded from my mind! However I didn’t find many people, especially Muslim women speaking about it so I hope it helps others out there i’a ♥️

Did the scan hurt ?
So the external scan with the jelly on the wand, over the belly hurt really badly. I felt like she bruised me she was pushing that hard! The internal scan didn’t hurt, it was a little uncomfortable but I wish she’d just started with that one, had I known how rough she was going to be 😵
I'm devouring everything pregnancy related at the moment as I'm insha'Allah going to try soon and this is exactly what I needed. So real, so many interesting tidbits and so much from an islamic perspective too! You're helping a lot of people! Thank you!!!!

Thankyou so much sis Alhamdulillah 🥹 the discharge did go away after that one time Alhamdulillah and I mentioned it to the midwife during my booking appointment and she confirmed that it wasn’t anything to be concerned about. Usually they only are concerned when it’s bright/fresh blood (sorry to be graphic!) ♥️

Alhamdulillah Alhamdulillah we are all doing fine now! Husband was fine throughout ofc haha, baby is great Alhamdulillah and I’m much better after a very challenging birth and tough recovery just over a month ago ♥️

First trimester is usually the toughest but hang in there these things will go away InshaAllah and you will enjoy from four months onwards
You’re right the second trimester was sooo much easier! I did find the final month of pregnancy exhausting too but the tiredness of the first trimester and sleeping sooo much was unmatched 😅
I have a friend who moved in with her husband’s family for three years and she had a baby while there. She said her MIL is a psycho and she hated it. My friend and her husband live up in the north of Scotland and he works away from home a lot of the time so she was left alone with his family so often. There is talk now of them moving back in with them! I find it so unfair for my friend to have to do this. Her family are in Glasgow and I don’t know I think it is a joke to be honest especially as she is expecting another child…
