Both Matt's home and his personal story are incredible. I often say that my absolute favourite part of my job is the people that I get to meet and this weeks story is a perfect example of that. Matt is one of the most inspirational, creative and hard working people that I've ever met. I have to say, I watched this video 5 times, in a row. This build was more than about a house. I was so inspired, moved, encouraged and amazed, by what Matt was able to do and the reasons behind it. His house is stunning but his personality is so much more. Never, have I been emotional about a house, but here I am, so honored, humbled and grateful, to have seen this video.

"Your emotions can really lie to you" -- probably one of the most important things you'll ever learn... This might be my favorite episode ever. The tiny house is amazing, but as others have said, Matt is even more amazing. I don't think I've seen another house that truly reflects its owner/builder to the extent that this one does.

I have watched literally thousands of tiny house videos and this house is my favorite. Matt is amazing 👏 and has done an incredible job creating this beautiful house. You can tell that Bryce was immensely impressed by the house and by Matt. The message of conquering uncertainty (with this build and his medical challenges) is a wonderful reminder that despite life's struggles, there is beauty in the struggle. Life is so precious and Matt reminds us to be grateful and always try to grow and be content with what you have and where you are in life.

He is a mentally, and emotionally strong. Thrilled that he has this home.

Matt is most definitely not "just a regular guy". He is an extraordinary human being. He is a total renaissance man. Talented, intelligent, and totally indomitable! I pray he keeps conquering his CF, and can continue inspiring others, as he has inspired me.

This is such an amazing story! Matt seems like he’d be one of the nicest people you could ever interact with. His use of reclaimed materials and design incorporation is genius. He knocked this build out of the park. I’m late to the party, but the production and story here are fantastic.

This house is stunning, and so is the spirit of the man who built it.

This may be my favorite tiny house video. Matt is so knowledgeable and wise beyond his years. I pray he lives a long and prosperous life ❤️

OMAGOSH! I've watched a lot of these shows, but I believe I may've just watched a tour of the home of my soulmate! 💗 It's crazy, what we have in common. Also I'm a musician as well (flute) and I think that it would be just heavenly, to be playing my flute while Matt played violin up in his tiny house. I can just bet that the acoustics in there are absolutely beautiful! 😍

So encouraging, in all areas! He is the pinnacle of the whole story, way beyond the house. The house is a part of him, an extension, a reflection of his life. Such a good interview and tour! Thank you both for this "introduction" to Matt!

This is perhaps the most beautiful house ~ small or large ~ that I've seen in a while. I too built my own house (in 1988 and I'm 67 now in 2021) and I have loved every minute of living in it. Although my own house is a bit larger at 40' by 28', my journey with it was very similar to Matt's description of his. I built everything in my own house besides the plumbing and the foundation cement work. I hope that Matt overcomes his medical problem so that he can enjoy his home for many many years to come.

the most amazing part was the skills used were all self taught. I thought he was a carpenter by trade because the home is well built and detailed. This is my favorite home. Thank you Matt and Bryce.

I hope that Matt is doing well and happily living in his beautiful home. He was so thrilled and grateful to show his lovingly crafted Valhalla. One of my favorite episodes of all.

My goodnessss! This is by far the best episode ever! The house is amazing but the Matt's story and appreciation for all the details he put into this house, the mindset of someone that had never built anything, and that was going through a very hard time with his disease, but just decided to take one step at a time and fitghtting, being resilient, step by step learning through the process and putting all of his heart into this project made him an enormous example of someone that just became a giant! The house, speechless, outstanding, extraodinary, in every detail it's beautifull and carries hisntory, memories and love! Wow! Congratulations to you both, for the episode and for this house! No kidding! Matt has an infectious and beautiful personality that you just want to be around with no matter what. I love that vibe I get from him here because I can instantly feel a connection with the dude around struggling through tough times in life with illness to the love of grandiose and epic aesthetics! Like, I can't stress that enough how much heart is in the home as well as the person. I love how he is open about stuff like dealing with that pain and not shying away from what makes him feel like "a man" as he is expressing his emotions with sincerity. I really wish him the best of luck in continuing to persevere and for him to find someone he loves and shares his great enthusiasm. Really deserves it! :)

This is my favorite house of all of this show. The owner is such an amazing human being. Intelligent, sensitive,perceptive , strong, clever. And he’s single😉

Everything about this episode is just right. I absolutely love the look, feel and style of the house. I love the nature and character of Matt and how he meshed everything to showcase his views on life in his home. Super guy. I wish him all the best

I have viewed this episode at least 6-7 times! I've saved it to my favorites so whenever I need a dose of inspiration it 's close at hand. Matt has managed to be super creative and have continuity throughout his home. So often people end up with a tiny home that is a mix of so many different styles that there is no place to feel peace and relax! Matt shares wisdom thru his experiences and makes the listener wish he was a personal friend! Hands down my favorite tiny home.......and my favorite interview of a super talented guy! Wish we got to hear him play the violin....maybe this Christmas?? Blessing on you Matt! Bryce , I enjoy watching all your videos...thank you and keep 'em comin'.

Matt is such refreshing young guy! The way he eloquently and warmly describe this beautiful space and the friends who helped him along this journey brought a smile to my face! I wish him many, many more years of good health and happiness..

This man is truly King of his Castle! I am so impressed by his talents he didn't know he had. The inside looks like the hall of an impressive old mansion. I would love to hear him play the violin there. The acoustics would be heavenly.

I've watched dozens and dozens of Bryce and Rasa's videos, and this might be the coolest tiny house I've seen out of all of them. Matt built a work of art. This provided me with some much-needed inspiration right now. Thanks for sharing this with us.

You can tell Matt is a beautiful person and his friends love him. I'll be praying for his health.

This is the first home I have seen that included several pieces of sentiment without a look of clutter. Every piece has not only a place, it looks like it belongs where he put them. The documentary, "65 Red Roses" brought the disease to my attention. Such a horror... up there with ALS. My grandmother died from ALS. Two neighbor children died from CF. With the technology of today, no one should ever have such disease.

Best episode ever! Very inspirational. Matt is a wonderful human being and its shows in his home. May his days be filled with joy. Thank you Matt for the inspiring us all with your story.
