I’m a beginner interested in painting landscapes, and I’ve just learned how hard green is to mix. This makes perfect sense because language brings intelligibility into the world. Thank you for this video.

That's so interesting. The linguistics of colour! It's a really helpful piece of advice to start from the words to help to see and then oajnt the greens. Green seems like such a tricky colour to enjoy using, I've found other artists feel that way too. Like watching you paint here I'm thinking how are you doing that?! I do love an olive or a lime or a dark veridian though.
