Tenzin Norsang Yeshi the thing is there arent many options in India for choosing basketball as a career. Even national level players end up becoming a coach at some school or some small coaching institute. I am not saying that there isnt a change but it is very gradual and i dont see a major change within 10 years

It was great and emotinal, but that's not it. He gotta a work as hard and as smart as possible and he really need to improve his footwork, quickness, vertical, IQ and the list goes on because this sport demands a lot from our body and the mind as well and to be part of the worlds biggest basketball league like NBA it is not that easy but it is possible if u r truly committed and know where exactly u r on ur journey and how much it takes to be there where u wanna be. I know he is not showing much progress as expected compared to other big men of his size after the draft as a reason he is not getting minutes in NBA G-league as well. I've even watched him play in fiba asia 2017, l felt like he is not able to withstand the pace and intensity level of a real game situation even while competing with smaller teams like jordan and syria. I wish that he get a chance to play in the NBA but i don't think he has that NBA potential in him. They say he has 6 % body fat but he doesn't move like one. If he really has such a low body fat percentage and moving that slow even after years of training by well educated coaches then there is nothing he could do, that must genetics fault.

You can't blame cricket honestly. We don't have the genetic capabilities to compete with black players, look at LeBron for example, he's 6'8 250 pounds, runs like a track athlete and has a 41 inch vertical. Basketball is a sport where you can't compete if you aren't born with these kind of physical gifts. Sad but true.
@jagjitrai39593 жыл бұрын
