That’s not nice, it could just be they don’t agree with the teaching. Or are not saved. Pray for them. Did u forget what u were like before you were saved? Or are you not saved. Examine yourself.

“Sometimes trouble is G-Ds megaphone so that He’s able to say something we wouldn’t be able to HEAR in peace and prosperity!” WOW, first day back home from jail and I’ve always watched Dr Randall Smiths videos but Daniel was the first book I read in jail and I remember telling the inmates that sometimes captivity is G-Ds way of saving you from certain death (if I didn’t die the idols that I filled my temple with, i.e. drugs) I felt that my time in captivity saved me and I just knew one of the first videos I’d first watch was him breaking down Daniel (Belteshazzar 👳‍♂️)

As I've told you in other videos, I've been so blessed to have access to your teaching. Yet, I don't believe it's an accident. Correct me Pastor if I'm wrong, but I don't believe in coincidences-I believe that God ordains all things by His hands, for our good and His glory. (My translation of Rom. 8:28 and more) I have comments from my pastors through the years I've esteemed & from others of that nature. However tonight a quote from you will be written in that special section of my Bible. I'll replay for accuracy, but now.. sometimes pain is God's megaphone to get your attention.. yes, I unfortunately know this to be true. Yet as Spurgeon said, I have learned to kiss the storm that throws me against the Rock of ages! Prayers for you and your family always Rev. Smith! God bless!

Daniel 1-12

Romans 10:9-10 (KJV) That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

One of the things that strikes me about Daniel is the ending of Chapter 12. He says that he has heard but he has not understood. He then asks, "O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things." After being told to "Go thy way." he's then given 2 additional time periods extending passed the 1260 days, told to go his way a second time and '... for thou shalt rest and stand in thy lot at the end of the days."

He got one thing wrong and that's the little horn. It represents the Roman Cathlic church that will persecute the saints for 1260 year (day/year principle) which already happened in the "dark ages" and then the Cathlic church received a deadly wound by the French empire and atheism became the main ideology and belief. But the deadly wound will be healed once again (Revalation 13) and the Papal power will be restored in our days right before the "rock" of Daniel strikes the statue= Jesus comes back. Interesting times we live in, be ready the King is coming.

@@tominagy1425 I think that you'll find that your interpretation regarding the Roman Catholic Church will not hold true. Why? Well, I was raised Catholic, groomed for the priesthood from an early age and have the benefits of some private Jesuit education. I broke from the RC Church over 40 years ago though. Currently, the RC Church is dying. Sex and financial scandals have driven millions away. The parishes are in decline, consolidating their local churches and the church can no longer put on a decent Bingo Night. They cannot get the young to become priests and nuns. They are shutting doors, closing girl's high schools and having the all-male schools go co-ed. Simply, it's dying "the death of 1000 cuts".

The 70th week happened right after the 69th.

Great comment. Also a sad comment. This guy is an amazing teacher but if there is any confusion about what to do with this knowledge then he has failed. Surely the whole point of the New Testament is to be very clear about what to do with this knowledge. You have had 6 months to pray. What has God told you?

@@reksubbn3961 I have found myself drifting away ...not meeting with others ( not allowed here in NZ currently) not praying as much not reading the bible. Your comment came up today when I was looking at some email ...some 4 months later and it resonates so thanks I ....whatever reksubbn stands for you have at least even if only temporarily moved me back onto the narrow path. Take care out there in US ...most of it too hot in Summer too cold in winter but good people.

@@williambyfleet9573 Hi William. Thanks for your comments. Actually I live in the land of of Australia but did spend some years in NZ. You are the first person to ask me what that name is. Many years ago I had the dream of busking. So it is busker backwards with a couple of letters added. N being one od my initials. nbusker. I have been searching for good Bible teachers who know the languages. This guy is excellent. As is my current favourite Tim Mackie. He will certainly help you to stay on the narrow path and actually enjoy it. Bless you bro.

Daniel didn't fight for the symbols but he fought quietly for God's Law - and goes over his supervisor to politely request different food.

I love the expression "the best version is the one you use!" Dr. Smith uses NASB 95, though I don't think he'd be opposed to the new NASB. Hope this helps! Christians are sometimes bad about showing indignation at the Bible/God being denigrated at every turn yet they never actually open the Bible nor reflect Christ in words or actions.
