Imagine if this was how real gigas and Shants fought like realistically the giga would run in and either get its head flattened or bite the shants tail and puncture an artery causing it to bleed to death.

Leonardo Bruno shants lived 70 ma while gigas 98-97 ma. they weee almost 30 million years apart in history. almost half of difference between trex and humans.

Shant and some other herbis can double tap h while standing and instant hit while making it seem that they are sitting down.

I do believe these shants were pretty good, but I really felt they were wasting their stam at points (sprinting back to one another) they also never tried to quickstomp or anything of the sort, which felt odd to me.

Great Video Sticky! Loving seeing another Giga beat Shants for once. Due to bleed and ambush, Gigas should take the fight. Sadly, most don`t know how to fight them or don`t even try. Shant players are so arrogant when Gigas are nearby and need to get humbled >:( ! Love your Giga vs Trike video too! Bleed is so good in this game and Giga has an ambush to engage and disengage out of the fight before it takes too much damage. Giga is a pretty good apex, just has a higher skill cap than Spino and Rex. It turns really well when trotting and Its heal is also second only to rex`s. Giga also have good stamina for an Apex and a longer ambush than Rex. Although, the ambush speed could be... better. Just remember to hold SHIFT when stopping to keep ambush active when you have it. You can bait out a shant`s stomps that way. In the right hands, Gigas are just as threatening as Rexes are. Sometimes more so, as for the case with trotting down dibbles, suchos, etc. Hopefully this video will help other Gigas out there! Show more videos of Giga vs shants and trike, please :). Gigas have an advantage against trikes as well. Only Rexes should really give us a nasty time, but you can alway just avoid them and use ambush to run away. If they aren`t too close, of course! You can sometime dodge the bite if a Rex if it is chasing you by making a sharp turn to ride it. Just mind the left side hit box and it depends on the angle of the Rex. Sometimes you want to turn left to shake it off. If all this happens and depending of how much stamina you have left, a Giga can then just chase the Rex until it runs out of stamina or foolishly tries to turn around. Fighting Rexes in a forest is also do able as well, do to its far better turning.

DERDERDER rEx bETerR DERDER Same page with you! many players that say the gigas a usless dino and shouldn't be out back in the game just want one thing: REX, Spino being seen as a fish eater seems to give it a break from rex fans, so at least some apex players dont have listen to the rant of rexes. and when you break down the whole thing, rex doest have many advantages in a fight, it really needs to get that leg break in, which with larger foes, can be a gamble, its low turning and relatively slow trot make it very vulnerable to utahs/dilos. Begginers love rex, main streams hate them, pros take pity on them, because they are a pain to use effectively.

Impressive video. I think the shants played it pretty smart too. Not bad.

I do think that on this one you sometimes over analyzed the situation. Having to cause you to miss many bites on target. What Giga lacks in speed it makes up in turning. For some of those passes you could have gotten the shants to risk hitting themselves. Hence you slowing down and getting more bites in. On some other hands you could have forced a juke because these shants had bad tactics.

Always hold shift! Let go of W instead if you gotta stop!

Giga stam runs out a few seconds after shant. Given that he was running a lot with little chance to regain stam while the shants had full stam, and given that he was getting very close without ambush, it would have spelled his death if they chose to pursue.

The rules of this server is that they cant chase. That's over aggro herbie. They can defend but they cant be too aggro. Not to mention if they did pursue stick all he had to do is let them run out of stam, they would have hit him and he just had to turn and get on their butts then that would be that. Then disengage. I've faught shants as giga and found that's a really good way of taking on an over aggro shant. Puts them in their place pretty quickly and they learn not to be over aggro.

In the beginning of the video when they were forcing you out of ambush speed, they could've killed you like 4 or 5 times at BEGINNING. When you lost your ambush, you were right there, in front of him. But i guess they didn't know that they were faster in sprint. Otherwise, this is doable, but not easy as in this clip.

People on here are so misunderstood with shants... yes they can chase you down but all a giga would have to do if they did was to let them run out of stam also and then (no stomp) turn, take a hit or 2, then ride that booty biting, then when some stam is back, disengage. It's simple. I've done it many times. But in this case on this server, they cant chase more then 15 seconds

Spino is great in a 1v1 vs shants, but when there are more than one the spino cant ride nearly as well, also as this lovely gentleman above pointed out, spinos heal is horrible, it has great bleed heal, but that's useless vs shants.

2:30 you also forgate that you do way to much less damege and rex is better for killing shant it's faster and his turn is a bit better than the shant and can break there leg wich would make them unable to stomp wich is your biggest treath as it 3 shots you also spino has an ez time 1v1 shants but 2 idk maby giga is best

I think you mean, "foolish" Shants.They could have chased him when he lost ambush, but I don't think they were noobs. They didn`t want to appear overly aggressive... I think? They did seem to know what they were doing and I have no doubt that they are experienced Shant players. They did alright. At several points, they were likely low on stamina too, so be mindful of that as well. They have terrible stamina and the stomps don't help. Anyway, Sticky did a good job. A lot better than most Gigas that try to out turn a damn shant or brawl them. Giga is a hit and run bleeder and should be played as one. If you play giga, you shouldn`t mind long fights. Gigas need to see this video.

Pyrrhus Nikomedes Disagree i was disappointed from stickys skills in that video. He is still 1 of the best players in the isle, but he should have watched his stam more, also he should only ambush attack and not ambush stop ride for a sec then escaping without ambush.

Idk if his server allows the shants to chase or not thats the real question, cause if the shants didnt have the option to chase the giga as long as they want thatd be broken. These shants lost because they didnt want to chase sticky and kill him as soon as his ambush went away. Instead they sat and tried to heal giga bleed which aint gona happen.

@@Metro605 lol no, all stick would have had to do with an over aggro shant chasing was to let him chase and run out of stam too, (no stomp) get behind the shant and have his fun then when hes got alittle stam back disengage the fight and let it bleed. I do it all the time. Very simple, shants most times are very cocky and make those mistakes because they think they're invincible. I help teach different. Its not hard to kill a shant, everyone just tries to make them better then what they really are.

Lol the male all sitting down should be trying to protect the female tbh they hold the key to the next generation 😂

Lmao! That's what I was thinking. If the male dies, who cares? Female tho is a different story. If I'm male and I have a female that isnt a survival dino, I will literally fight to the death with an apex to prevent the female from dying so then they can nest in more people. I was dying watching the ignorance of the shants in this video, but that's ok. You learn by watching and playing. So maybe next time they'll be more careful about which they do.

Im not sure why they did not chase u to death mb theyr not allowed to. On the server i play once a herd member gets attacked theyr allowed to chase as long as they want and it makes sense bcuz like this fight u justgo in trade bites disengage get stam hp back while theyr bleeding this is a fight shants cant win.. onlyif u stupid enugh to get stomped i can tell u on my server it takes much more to even kill a solo shant as if u waste just 15 percent of your stamina the shant will just chase u down and kill u :) not to mention 2 shant .

sorry i m a big fan of you, watched every video but it just gets boring. Bleed is the strongest weapon in the game and all matches are the same. One bleeder, one bigger opponent and than deal bleed, play on time, heal yourselfe up when the victim is getting more and more damage. I know, this is how the game works but it starts to get boring a bit. Just my unasked oppinion ^^
