Regarding filters, I found online at protecdirect, fairly cheap ABEK2 HgP3 filters for only £17 made by scott. They have a 10 year date. I tested them on a S6 gas mask in the Sam way you do. They worked fine and for a good price.

How long will GP-5 filters last, and how much do they usually cost?

GP-5 filters are expired and have asbestos in, so they will either work or not work, and if they work not for very long, and you risk inhaling asbestos which will damage your lungs.

Hey do you know any full rubber gas/chemical suits whatever they are called that works with the FM-12 preferably within 10-30 pounds

You can smell odours with the mask on.

i have a filter that is a green cilnder and long ish and all it says on it is 'xl-90-3' '6kФ' could anyone identify this filter and tell me if it is safe thank you. It also came with a mask and a hose the mask looks like a smh41 with a black thing where the nose is.

That's probably the BKF filter, one version is safe and the other contains asbestos.

Is the M3 M-52 Yugoslavia gas mask without the filter safe?

You don't need two filters at once on the mask if there are not massive amounts of chemicals in the air. You just should have at least two, one for training and one completely sealed when you would need it.
