Founder of One Championship and Business tycoon, Chatri Sityodtong talks at the Asia MMA summit 2016. Sityodtong spoke about his vision on evolving the ONE championship into one of the largest sports media outlets in Asia. Chatri states his main focus is to build the ONE championship into a company that will benefit the whole eco system in Asia as whole.
When comparing Asian fighters to Western fighters Chatri Sityodtong told us,
“Asia is the home for martial arts for the past 5000 years, there is a true Asia value system to martial arts, Integrity, Honor, discipline, humility, courage. These are things that Asians really care about, If you look at some of the Asian heros such Manny pacquio. They are unbelievable martial artists no question about it but its how they carry themselves, its very different. I think in Asia we love those kind of hero’s, we don’t necessary like those who trash talk, are disrespectful, you know bling bling with the cars, money and the girls, that not what we Asians care about, It’s just not.”
