after realizing Emma and Ingrid's backstory,I have this question why was Ingrid so obsessed to have the same old sisterly thing she once had with Helga and Gerda?she wanted a family that understands her and wasn't Emma on the land without magic,her chance to earn her wish?there wasn't need to just have two other sisters,freak like her!she could have a normal life,without being afraid to hurt anyone and the taste of having a daughter with Emma in Boston!sure in that case Emma would have met Neal and have Henry with him so she can find her way back to Storybrooke,or maybe she could!doesn't matter,still both Emma and Ingrid could have the family they want!

Well Emma ran away and left Ingrid no choice but to track her down to Storybrooke. And Ingrid wouldn't want Elsa to spent the rest of her life in an urn. Ingrid's plan was probably to adopt Emma and then they go to Storybrooke together and retrieve Elsa. She didn't know about Henry or Regina or how Elsa would get to Storybrooke. Ingrid was just following the prophecy that the sorcerer's apprentice gave her. I imagine she never intended (originally) to destroy the town with the spell of shattered sight. That came later when she realised Emma and Elsa wouldn't be with her willingly

She wanted it to be different than it was with Helga and Gerda. They didn't have magic, and having magic to Ingrid makes you special. Along with never being seen as anything but a monster at certain times, Ingrid lost her love for her birth sisters and wanted Emma and Elsa to be her 'new' sisters, cuz by having magic between the three of them, Ingrid saw them as a perfect match.

@@rhaegostheskydragon1760 she was also blind to the fact that Anna loved Elsa no matter what and Elsa in return, plus it wasn’t Emma’s destiny to be with Ingrid, Ingrid misinterpreted the prophecy. Her sisters did love her, Gerda did something wrong and as her final wish asked forgiveness and wanted the people to celebrate both her sisters as well as her daughters

This caught me off guard I actually thought this was what I was going to get with the frozen movie
