It would've been great if Ingrid could've adopted Emma! Instead of Ingrid getting eager and trying to prove to Emma that she had magic, she should have waited until she was older. The two of them would've been a great family, Emma would get the mom/big sister she's always wanted and Ingrid would have someone to love her again!

Ingrid was the nicest villains imo, she did manipulative things but she had good intentions. All she wanted was to feel loved. Can't fault that.

Kinda wish they had done a season of What Ifs... What if Emma stayed with Ingrid, what if Regina became the Dark One instead of Emma, what if Rumple had let go of the darkness for Belle's love all those years ago...

Ingrid and Emma remind me of Regina and Henry. I know that Ingrid looks more loving on the outside, but she has the same strict power dynamic that Regina has when she doesn't get what she wants.

Yes but the difference is 2 situations are exact opposites to each other. Regina was essentially trying to convince Henry that he was acting crazy believing in magic, yet he continued to do so anyway - even to the point that he tracked down the mother that clearly abandoned him. Then you have Emma who freaks out when Ingrid tries to convince her that she has magic - even though Ingrid is providing the thing that she has so desperately wanted in a family.

@@mnomadvfx Ingrid only looked loving because she was getting what she wanted, and her detachment from reality led her to drag Emma into the street to prove her magic. Ingrid was still feeling the sting from her sister betraying her, it didn't go away; this time she spent with Emma was her basking in her victory, but she got overly eager. When she got her second chance, she cursed the town of Storybrooke.

The thing is Ingrid actually would have been a good adoptive mom for Emma. If she hadn't gotten a little over eager with trying to prove to Emma that she had special powers right away, she actually might have done a better job at preparing Emma for confronting Regina and breaking the curse. Of course she may not have met Neal and Henry never would have been born in that case (meaning Emma would have no reason to visit Storybrook in the first place)

…what is this take 😂 Ingrid literally pushed Emma in front of a car. Good intentions she may have had, but she’s certainly not a better mother to Emma than Snow

I know she was a villain but I loved ingrid so much her relationship with Emma could have gone so well and I'm disappointed they killed her

Its kinda sad that Ingrid scared her away. Emma could've been so loved and had a grasp of her powers earlier without feeling like she needed to get rid of them. Maybe she still would've had Henry idk, but they could've came to storybrooke together as a family.

​@@soixsantesthat's true. Arandelle and enchanted forest is from the same realm. Not like wonderland Oz or Nederland. If ingrid hadn't tried to unlock emma power the way she did in a land where its impossible ingrid could of taken emma to storybrook where magic was possible. Rumple looses all powers when he leaves to find neo and when banished but gets them back when he returns. Safe to say no magic works outside storybrook

She could have had her happy ending, but she took power over love.

Emma loved her. She was finally getting adopted. Ingrid could of show her magic in storybrook. But she was in too much of a hurry. She forgot that there is no magic in this land. She herself had no powers when she tried using them against the scam artist in the beginning. Expecting to unlock emma powers in a land where its impossible. The dark one looses his powers whenever he left storybrook and gets them back when he returns. Safe to say no one had magic outside storybrook.

If she wanted 2 magical sister why do she go with Regina and zelena

Because Ingrid never had a connection with Regina or Zelena. Ingrid wanted sisters that made her feel so happy and she felt the connection when she met Elsa and Emma.
