What I don't understand is why can't Henry or Emma just kiss one of them to wake them up? I mean, both Emma and Regina broke the curse with true loves kiss on Henry because they loved him, even if it's not a romantic love. Why wouldn't it work for them?

Yes, it's true love Emma or Henry's kiss, but it's not strong enough to wake them. It's not means their love much less, but I dont think that the sleeper wants....

@@alexplays_roblox1k373 it wont work like that it only works for charming and snow but it wont work for others because snow and charming shares a curse and if she woke up david and snow would be asleep since they shared a curse

Bc if u would write the scene like that u would have failed the Audience remain or grows when they see and feel or can even relate the pain and please love from Emma or Henry would not fit it cause this love is a different form of true love! This curse was made to really let u feel the pain of being alone - quite good that is one could not easily defeated by true loves kiss!

I was a huge fan back in the day and just researching this. But the curse is on their heart so what if they took their hearts out of their body? It’s been used to stop curses before (i.e shattered sight curse in S4) Or like Emma could break it. Or Henry. Easy

The curse resides in the heart but it is still connected to the body even when outside. Its why you can control, hurt or kill someone by using their heart.
