I am so happy that Rumble is being honest with Belle. I believe that he is trying to do the right thing. And that he is hurting because of what he has done to her. I am wondering if this is their son. We do know it takes TRUE LOVE KISS;

"I do love you, and I believe that you love me, but us being together only causes heart-break." This was such a wise thing to say and I respected her for saying it. I have to think that if it hadn't been for Gideon manipulating them and stirring the pot, they might have found a way to work through their issues. Or at least work together and try to be civil for the sake of the baby. I mean, come on. Belle KNEW Rumple loved Bae more than anything and that, despite his mistakes, he tried so hard to be a good father. Rumple was acting like a jerk in season 5, but if they could have just sat down and had an honest conversation, none of this crap about to happen in 6B would be happening right now. Gideon used his mother's naivete and her unconditional love for him to his own advantage, making her believe she couldn't trust Rumple. And as a result, this weakened Rumple's faith in himself and made him fearful that he would lose another child. This set off a chain of events - Rumple doing some pretty shady, some downright terrible things to try to fix the damage, combined with Gideon's warnings - that eventually led to Belle sending him away. It's actually really sad when you think on it too much :(

I tot agree. Except, I think Rumple was being a jerk (no idea why she would ever have him back after it) in S4 though, not in S5. In S5 he was, well, asleep, scared/without power but courageous in 5A, accepting who he was and smart about who she fell in love in 5B. That saying, Rumple to Belle of course. He's just always a pos to everyone else mostly. But I did like Rumple in S5 (I like evil rumple too don't get me wrong, just away from Belle xD). Also, I quitted in S6 because I couldn't stand Belle anymore, so I might get this wrong. But I think "this" gideon is the one maniplated by the black fairy? So in the end, Rumple was right to tell her here "don't trust him?"

True loves kiss doesn't work when your both asleep because you're not really there. Like charming and snow when she couldn't wake him up.

It's an interesting scene, but it struck me just now that if Belle is under the curse so is Gideon. And as Snow and Davis showed - when two people under the Sleeping curse meet in that realm they can't break the curse because it's not their real bodies, they can't touch. In either case, even if Belle's words are sound I think it odd that she think it's a better fate for her baby to never wake up than to raise it with separated parents.

How much I loath the writers of this episode

Anyone else hoping that Belle finds someone who is worthy of her.

@@Smratboy ??Really ?? He's just evil and selfish. He's toxic. I really hope at the end she could find somebody who loves and respect her. Even after he knew what Henry was to him he try to kill him, to kill his Mother Emma, because of him Regina became evil too, he killed the mother of his 1st child, etc... He can't even give à true Kiss to Belle, he loves power more than his wife, his children and Henry.

@@Smratboy rumple did plently of wrong but she definetely did.

by knowing what Gideon was gonna turn into and Belle literally played as a pawn this whole time(and all stupid fans cheering for her) watching this scene is a lot more comfortable than it is as the first time watch.
