Used to watch casper as a kid...wat a sweet n friendly ghost....

2:31-2:34 That was just like in the movie when Casper was watching TV.

Oh, wow I just recognized... at 2:30-2:34 is a part in the Casper film! And lol I liked the end where Casper turned completely red after Riding Hood kissed him! :"D

This was the 1st ever casper episode I've ever watched when I was little and it's still one of my favorite ones yet

I love the Ghosts' singing, great voices! :)

For heavens sake, ghost or no ghost, he isn't scary! He's adorable!

This cartoon was used in the Futurama episode "Kif Gets Knocked Up a Notch", it took the production crew 40 hours to find something to fit Zap Brannigan's line "They jump right out of their pants!"

Yeah so do I and I’ll tell you this Casper was wishing that people wouldn’t be scared of him and one day his wish came true! In a certain cartoon of Casper the friendly ghost he saved a baby’s life from a burning building and the baby’s mom thanked him and kissed him on the head afterwards and from that time on people were not scared of Casper the friendly ghost!

Well,at any rate,he is a ghost. Furthermore,I know everyone's screams of "A ghost!" are supposed to be funny and it's only a cartoon,but frankly,I never found that funny at all,not when the cartoon characters didn't get to know Casper and realize that, unlike most ghosts,he means no harm at all.

​@@ryanharris5184 He's 12 in the movie, but we're never sure how old he is in the original cartoons. (One old script of an unproduced Casper short I read said he was 463 years old in ghost years!) In fact, in the comics, they revealed he's a ghost baby created from his married ghost parents and implies he'll be an adult ghost one day.

Excuse me, but being friendly doesn't mean he's mentally handicapped. It just means he wants friends, since the majority of people, creatures, and even objects he encounters scream and run away in fear. Bruno56 Oh yeah? Then why do paranormal investigators exist? Ditto for people who claim to have experienced a haunting of some sort? They couldn't have just dreamed their experiences, nor would paranormal investigators do what they do if there wasn't something beyond what we think we know.

This was truly my most favorite of the Casper Cartoons. This is the THE cartoon that encasulates the true meaning of childhood inocence. How did we become a world of mystery, wonder and fun for children of all ages to a dark, fearful, and humorless society in such a short amount of time? To be old enough to remember when time moved slowly enough to appreciate these fantastic cartoons has become both a blessing and a curse. I don't think we'll ever see an age like this again.

Funniest thing in any cartoon is when someone does a wild take and yelps, "A GHOST!!!!" before running away.

watching this as a little kid i used to think it was odd that the wolf ate the key and then put a napkin around his neck
