My personal favorite was one of the commended images, the abstract by Dylan Nardini. The one thing that all the images had in common was the push they all gave me to keep working hard at improving my photography.

Nigel it is so good to see you back at your desk and not lying in bed. I have missed your weekly vlogs which not only offer really helpful tips but also provide inspiration. Each week I have enjoyed your vlogs due to your positivity. I have missed that the past several weeks as you have been recovering. I have gone back and re-watched my Master Class sessions during your absence. I wish you continued success in your recovery and hope you can get back out in the field soon. It’s great to see you back.

Oh my gosh Nigel! You're in my prayers sir. I knew you were having back surgery, that rots about the second issue. I am so sorry to hear about your medical troubles. I can't wait to see you back out there helping all of us to become better photographers.

So WONDERFUL to have you back Nigel. It's like seeing an old friend after a long absence. Congratulations on a very successful landscape photography contest! I'm glad my entries contributed to such an amazing and important cause. The winning images were fantastic...very inspirational as others have pointed out. To be honest it was refreshing to have a contest that was more about photography skills and not about who can push Photoshop editing to the extreme. As usual this video goes right into my playlist to be revisited often with all the great Danson tips. Keep taking it easy and wishing you a complete recovery.

Hi Nigel, over the past couple of weeks i stumbled across your youtube channel and i am really enjoying working my way though your videos. you really have inspired me to get my camera out the bag and get out there. I am a beginner to DSLR photography, my stepdad gave me his old Pentax K-x to start off with which i am enjoying using. I really love your vlogs, your knowledge and expertise of photography. The images you produce and places you visit are incredible. Great video and as others have said, great to have you back on our screens again. I particularly enjoy these types of critique videos (there's not enough of them) as I learn far more from them than the bog standard composition videos/books/blogs - you know, the leading lines, golden spiral, frame within a frame type composition tutorials. Having images where you can see and hear where the image could be improved is so much more informative and educational and as each image was presented I was starting to see where the issues were with each one as it came on screen which means I was learning quickly. It would be really good to have these kind of videos on a monthly basis and I hope I can keep the solutions, tips and tricks in mind next time I'm out in the field. Here's wishing you all the best for a continued and speedy recovery!

Glad to see you recovering. I think you can tell by the number of views that your audience is still with you, so be sure and take your time, don't rush, we are all eager to wait and see your photo journeys when you are fully 100 percent.

Great to see you back and once again you've given us a really useful video so thanks for sharing. I hope your recovery goes extremely well and you are back out in the field soon. I recently switched to a belt system for all my camera gear and it's really helped me a lot as as I've also had back issues for many years now. The rucksack just carries my waterproof and a few light things now.

Glad you are on the mend…. I’d happily watch videos of drinking coffee and just chatting about photography. You are such a wealth of knowledge.
