ONCE I FIGURED THIS OUT, I BECAME A MILLIONAIRE / In this video, I’m spilling the beans in a very candid conversation about the one thing that helped me become a millionaire.
I wish someone had told me about this 10 years ago when I first took the leap into becoming an entrepreneur because I have never experienced more growth or ease in my business than in these last 8 months.
In this episode, I’m sharing a strategy that I’ve been testing behind the scenes for the last 8 months.

Awesome video as always!!! And a REALLY great message!! Sooo definitely tough to pick one thing as I'm just starting out my business from scratch, especially since my thought was that I'll have to start pretty broad before I can get clear on the type of client I naturally attract. BUT if I had to guess who that ideal client would be, I'd say young attorneys in law school or recently graduated, and my one thing (okay maybe two things at this point) would be coaching them to get their first job and learn how to start building their career :)

One of the main reasons I started following Sunny is because she really encourages you to be yourself. A lot of people out there teaching you how to make money focuses on what "they did" and how to copy them. Sunny focuses on being true to yourself and using your strengths. Not only does that build confidence, but it's being true to yourself that will bring you true joy in life. Glad to have found you, Sunny!

It's so true. My very first business coach ever stressed this point to me so much, and that alone is the reason why I was one of her most successful students. Because I actually listened to, and applied the simple concept of "finding what works, and focus on THAT". It takes a little bit of time at the start to notice what IS vs. what ISN'T working, but once to find what IS working, let go of all the other stuff and just do what works for YOU. This is a point I stress with all my current clients, who are mostly coaches / consultants / close on the phone. The ONE thing is getting more phone appointments! It's natural to sometimes want to do anything BUT the one thing ... but when you effectively DO the one thing for the day, every day, you can make the entire rest of your to-do list completely irrelevant! Thanks for this vid Sunny! Love your stuff!!

Thanks so much for all your helpful tips, Sunny; I'm grateful for everything you share! I'm only just now learning this "one thing" lesson. For 6 years I've been a yoga therapist helping people recover from various injuries, surgeries and illnesses. I've worked with people with cancer, scoliosis, spinal stenosis, disc herniation, back pain, knee pain, high blood pressure, epilepsy, autism and Down's syndrome to name some. Since I pride myself on always giving the very best, it has required A LOT of extra research and energy on my part every time I've taken on a new client. Last year I published my first book (my story of losing my mom to cancer and what got me through my darkest days to see the light) and I'm realizing that I really want to work with women in grief--helping them let go of the suffering that comes with grief and, ultimately, turn their deepest pain into their greatest gift--because there IS a blessing in everything even, and especially, in the most painful things. I've since taken a break from my social media and KZread channel to create this new focus, incorporating my knowledge and experience in yoga therapy and writing. I pray my work helps all those who need it. Many blessings to you. 🌟🙏🏼🌟

This is so crazy, it’s like you made this video just for me. I am actually a doctor, a very specific doctor, an eye Dr., and currently I am building my business which is a company that employs other eye doctors to work with in different optical shops. I’ve been doing this for the past six years, and I’ve recently been presented with multiple offers from owning my own optical shop, selling products online, etc., but I’ve always felt that building my eye doctor business Was at the center of my focus. I now feel more than ever that I should stay focused on building my eye doctor business. Funny enough, I just got off the phone with a man who is interested in helping me Building my business, because he manages a symbiotic business to mine. Thank you for this video, and thank you so much to You and your team for making such amazing videos.

I work with seniors and have been struggling with cutting down to the ONE THING. I appreciate you reminding me of the importance of that. I know the One Thing I have always been good at (and that I am drawn to) is jumping into the messy situations in senior care. Specifically the hard conversations, the deep hurt and emotions that revolve around talking about care needs and potential resources for a loved one. I will be working to figure out how to focus solely on that and market myself in that manner. I LOVE YOUR CONTENT!!!! I watch your videos and listen to your podcasts as they come out. THANK YOU for giving me a path as I step out of the corporate world and build Senior Care Advisor Group, LLC. You are the best!

The one thing for me that has changed my life has been learning from other people's mistakes. Through books, podcasts, KZread, etc. learning from others allows you to take all of their wisdom that they had to learn the hard way. Tip for anyone who doesn’t have time to read (or just doesn’t like reading lol), LISTEN TO AUDIOBOOKS ON YOUR COMMUTE! As a student, I don’t have a lot of time to read books other than my textbooks, but by listening to audiobooks most days on my drives, I am able to consistently learn new skills and grow. With no extra time or effort required 🙌

Relentless focus (almost to the point of obsession) is necessary to get ahead. All the businesses that do multiple things now that we admire started off with ONE thing! I hate the fact I'm doing maintenance and know ALL the trades electrical ,plumbing ,carpentry , masononary , flooring ,tiling drywall, security systems ,sprinkler systems ,tiling welding EVERTHING even Medicaid state ,city ,county and Federal codes and ALL my friends or family make more money just doing 1 trade . It blows me away they only have to do 1 trade with very little computer and paperwork. They ALL get paid way more money. .. IF YOUR YOUNG PLEASE ,PLEASE LISTEN TO HER ADVICE . Stick to one thing ,heck a lot of contractors work I've seen wasn't even that good and they still make good money. I just had a guy make a key for my work truck , That's all he does is makes keys and he gets paid real well ..i have worked on MANY OF LOCKS on building and home but I don't get paid what that guy does. (( Find a nitch and do it well )) I met another guy who just refinish s tubs . Or another guy who just pulls small dents out of cars. They have all done well. Thank you again for doing this video.

I think staying focus on one thing is true however i would suggest trying 3 different things in the beginning of your KZread channel or business. Give it like 3 months & see which one people gravitate to more. Another people don't tell you, is you gotta know people. If you know people especially ones that have a big following online or in person; they can help spread the word about what you doing. It's important to network & socialize & make t shirts to promote yourself. Eventually i feel we all will get to where we need to be 😊🙏🌟

I 110% relate to being pulled in a million directions and thinking that I have to provide tons of different offerings to really grow my video marketing coaching business. And, yes, I'm overwhelmed by the concept of it and feel that I'm spreading myself so thin in order to grow each area a little bit at a time. You referenced Blue Ocean Strategy (a book I reference all the time) and that is precisely how I landed at creating the business I now have. I don't know of any business that does exactly what I focus on. So now.... I'm going to get hyper-focused on the ONE thing that I LOVE and do BEST. Thank you!!! Janie
