I worked as Fokker 100 avionics technician for TAM airlines, Sao Paulo, Brazil. They had 50 aircrafts like this but not enough infrastructure. it was a nightmare. I only stayed 1 year and quit. But I agree it's a beautiful plane.

Great Video, I love flying on those Virgin Fokker 100's as you really feel like you are flying in these little jets. 18A is 100% the best seat on them as you get the view of the wing and the engine. If you ever come back to Perth you should take a flight to Broome as the views on departure and arrival, and the fact that the airport is in the centre of town is amazing. Keep up the great work!!!

@@Aviation763 Yeh, Anything and everything related to Aviation and Travel is expensive in WA. Virgin do have a sale at the moment i think but it is still 11,800 velocity points one way. It's really sad that virgin are replacing the Fokker 100s at the end of this year with the 737-700's.

Great as always mate! I'd like to suggest something for you. I think a great and professional format could be to record as you normally do, but post commentate/narrate the videos at home with a nice microphone. You could even blend both aspects. You present things extremely well and I think it could go to another level doing this. PS next time you are in Coffs let me know! ❤

Great review! Ive flown on the QantasLink A320 and Fokker 100 many times before, and I’ve gotta say I’d much prefer the Fokker. Although it is much louder the extra space in the cabin having only 100 seats is so much nicer than the A320. The Fokker rides pretty smooth too.

Great review Aviation763! Such a versatilite aircraft the old F100 absolutely Fokker country here in WA. Perth probably Fokker capital of the world. A-shame Virgin Regional I believe is disposing them from there fleet soon though 😢

Thank you! Good question, I basically just edit them as soon as I can (Because I don't have heaps of space on my phone) and then schedule them for a time that makes sense. For example, I try not to put out 3 VA 737s in a row because that would be boring. I just edit them on my phone haha.

Very much the opposite. The Fokker 100 in question is around thirty years old and they are being replaced with the Boeing 737-700s coming from KLM
