Alitalia owed more than €1 billion when they stopped trading, this airline is essentially Alitalia, same planes, same staff, same management. Typical corrupt Italians, this airline will be bankrupt soon.

This is another great insight and review for an interesting international flight, Hugo! I notice your style is changing somewhat - it seems now you now add the your commentary as a voice over in the editing process, rather than on the go when your filming (correct me if I’m wrong, but was that how you used to do it?) The information you give is well researched, well spoken and informative! I’m looking ford to your return review on the long hop from Dubai to Melbourne! ✈️

Greta video! Emirates in my opinion is the best airline in the Middle East and probably third best economy behind Singapore airlines and Cathay!
Emirates has been my favourite airline ever since I was a little kid! They had the best meals and service, and their cabin crew were very accommodating and professional, not to mention their world class ICE entertainment, with the best selection of Games and Movies, and I remember always looking forward to the flight just for playing those games! And they also gave out Kids Magazine and plushies, which I still have them in my old shelf as memories of my childhood, although torn and battered! And I was also fortunate enough to fly in their a330 they once operated, before shifting to an all b777/a380 fleet! All in all a very pleasant experience! I am glad you flew on this airline, which continues to lead in their quality of service! Also in your upcoming videos, I hope you review the other lesser known Middle Eastern Carriers whose services are also on par with the big 3 Middle Eastern carriers, like Kuwait Airways, Gulf Air, Oman Air, and also one day, Air India too! Looking forward to it!

Greetings from Honolulu. I arrive in Honolulu 2 hours ago from Sydney on Jetstar, Boeing 787-8, flight is 90% full, flight is good and okay, 9 hours, I slept 2 hours, it's good and okay.
I iiked, is good, but is big the difference between Y for B!!!

Thank-you for a well balance review! Its given me a thorough understanding of the resort. It would be so stressful waiting for a buggy with my cranky kids. I would be tempted to just pay to hire a buggy for our entire stay.
Great review, I had 3 questions. 1. Can you watch your own movies off USB drive on the screen without paying the extra $10 or do you still need to pay? 2. If it does work any special format files need to be in that you are aware of? 3. Do the seats in row 10 with extra leg room still have access to a movie screen? I couldnt quite see in your video.

Melbourne airport still looks average compare with Asian country's, small old not many shops and most expansive car park in the world, even toilets at the gates looking very ran down, it supposed to be international top notch. very unfriendly when you are coming back home from overseas, customs looking at you if you are criminal or something no friendly smile what's so ever, when do we learn in Victoria that we deserved better here and there's uniforms are shocking, we could come up with much better clean looking professional uniform. but on the other hand thank you for your review , appreciated and good luck in your future 🙂💗🙂
There is another airline in Europe you need to try called La Compagnie - apparently every seat is business class and the food service is amazing! It would be a good airline to review.

3-3-3 is also rare nowadays
3-3-3 is getting rare on the B777, but on the A350 it’s the standard and on the 787 it is too.
I've flown recently from Rome to Tokyo with ITA, and it was... mediocre, to be generous. There was only one hot meal service (other airlines have two for routes this long), the food was a bit bland. There was a sandwich mid flight and a packed breakfast before arrival. A couple of window shades were absent: people had to stuck some safety cards in the windows to cover them and get some sleep. Also the staff was a bit approximate and not welcoming, and wifi never worked during the flight, as well as the inflight maps. Luckily, the A350 was recetly refurbished and both the seats and the IFE were great.
That sounds a bit disappointing… Yeah on a full service carrier I’d expect 2 hot meal service. Thanks for sharing!

Greetings from Sydney. I arrive in Sydney 2 hours ago on Cebu Pacific, Airbus A330-900neo from Manila, flight is 90% full, flight is good and okay, 7 and a half hours, I pre order a meal, called beef abodo with rice that comes with small bottle of water, it taste good and okay, but the cabin is a little warm and dry on a 7 and a half hour flight to Sydney because there is no air vent and the legroom is bad and tight, 29 to 30 inches, I felt almost quite uncomfortable, but I am okay.

I respect your opinion, and that many people really like ITA airways. I’m not the only one that has criticised ITA however.
Honestly Garuda Indonesia is a great airline. We just have horrible management which means bad money management and therefore leading to bankruptcy. And because of that, Garuda has had to retire tons of aircraft and have their current aircraft operating in poor conditions. Last week i flew on their flagship 777 and the power plug was just loosely hanging under the seat and one of the overhead bins flew open upon touchdown
Garuda is a great airline, it’s one of my favourites but there’s some areas where it’s just not up to standard.

Quite probably one of the best, if not the best Thai airways flight report ever, I love flying Thai, Lhr/Bkk for me, 2 flights a day from uk, in the early days (2010) I flew on B747 then 777,300er,A380,. An uneventful flight is always a good thing,.cheers,.

Traveled with the old AZ (Alitalia) a few times. Service was pleasant! ITA's invention might be to do with EU not allowing government money to used for airline bailouts. Thanks for the great review!

@@NapierAviation767 If you're looking for economy fares I suggest Air Asia with prepaid luggage and preordered meal. If Citylink (Garuda's LCC) goes to your city that's an option and the old familiar Jetstar with prepaid luggage and meal is usually reliable too.
It has its problems, but I would say Garuda Indonesia for sure if it’s within your budget. I’ll have a review on Garuda for Australia to Bali in the near future :D

Shabby, dirty old plane, I've never seen screens roughly removed like that. At least they could have covered the gap neatly. Amazing. If I go to Europe I'll give ITA a miss.
These planes are going to be removed from the fleet in a few months as they are renewing the fleet. These are ex Alitalia planes. I’ve travelled with there new planes both intercontinental and international and they were amazing. I wouldn’t write them off like that. Yeah it’s a shame these ex-Alitalia planes aren’t good, because I do believe ITA’s newer planes are good but they still have plenty of older planes. I didn’t think ITA was retiring the A320s yet?

No TV on a short flight like FCO-LIN isn’t a big deal for me and is common, but the seats were quite cramped yeah
