I have just realized that Danny's subreddit vids are special. Like whoever is continuing to watch every one that comes out will understand all the inside jokes. Like the subreddit vids have turned into something where you can't just skip around the different subreddit vids if you want to understand the newest vid. dude i don’t remember my full on dream..just the part where i saw him. i have no idea what i was doing or where i was.. i saw him and i think he didn’t even have a body just his head and neck so i screamed “HOLY SHIT” i then realized that i was dreaming and was sucked out of it

the only marathon i ever did was a charity run for a local theatre i was involved with. i was pretty young so my mom went with me, and my number was 2. i told her "i don't wanna be number 2!!!" so we swapped numbers... eventually i took the race really seriously and finished quite a few places ahead of my mom. but our numbers were swapped, so on the official result page it said i took way longer than her. moral of the story: accept that you are number 2

Definitely agree with the ie thing. I grew up in England and as a kid everyone called me Rosie but my real name is Rose. Rosie by itself is a name so it's interesting how this happens.

It's actually really weird because the videos in my dreams are absolute nonsense and nothing makes sense, but they still have the format and general pacing of a regular video. Most of the ones I see are people sewing or trying on dresses, and ones where people just say gibberish at the screen!

Ironically, I think older people wanting to call Danny “Dan” isn’t because it sounds more serious, it’s because it’s different. Like if he went by Dan or Daniel, they’d probably do the reverse and call him “Danny”

Gouache is like watercolor but with more opacity, like it has the coverage of acrylic but it's water based with a more matte finish, it's good for very even color blocking. Take that Danny.

Yea, in Russia gouache is really popular paint for kids, and a little bit popular in professional arts (but not too much). It is the closest to acrilic, but is water washable and has matte finish as ts said

I MADE THE PORTRAIT OF DANNY KURTIS AND DREW! I didn’t paint the original painting’s bodies or backgrounds. I photoshop the faces onto the bodies and manually blend them and add makeup, then I add the necklaces or whatever props, then edit in a separate program to give it a cohesive paint style.

As an artist, hearing Danny pronounce gouache like goo-ash is the highlight of my day. I feel like so few people know what it is despite being one of the most unique and versatile mediums out there. (it usually rhymes with squash)

Gouache is a word my brain refuses to acknowledge. I love watching videos of people opening and organizing those little sets of paint pots, but I must have googled it over a dozen times and couldn't say it right if someone paid me.

i thought gouache was the most common paint out there! we weren't allowed to paint with acrylic in school because of the staining, so i had always painted with gouache until i started doing art independently

Gouache is basically watercolor but more pigmented and opaque. Many artists love to use it because it gives that opaque and Matt finish to the painting. Hope I helped

I often fall asleep to Danny’s videos so he and Kurtis have 100% just been messing around in my dreams. I can also say that I didn’t know about the fast and furious thing because I’ve never seen any of the movies

Never dreamt of Danny before, but Ed Helms is a recurring character in a lot of nightmares for me. What's weirder is that I'm not even a big fan of The Office- I would have no idea what his name was if it wasn't for the 20-some times I've googled it after dreaming that Ed Helms was trying to kill me.

My mom is 62 and she got into running a few years ago. She's done lots of 5ks, 10ks, and a few half marathons so far. She usually gets pretty good times and even came in first place in her age group once or twice. She had special t-shirts made for my dad and I that say "support team" and we've been to a lot of her races to cheer her on. Ever since COVID though, I don't feel comfortable being in large groups of people anymore. I'm glad you and your wife are into races, because most of them help support a lot of really good charities.
