Where are the heights of the athletes taken from? Wikipedia? Elsewhere? Because the Asian Games '22 starting book had them listed at 180 and 182 cm respectively.

I mean, I hope it's Tian, he's my favourite lifter by far and the most exciting to watch. But Li Dayin is a million times more reliable

It would’ve been nice if the Olympics can select more than three athletes per country for each gender.... I’m a fan of both of them…

I like Tian Tao the most, he has cool charisma and is a very hard working athlete. I think he will show himself at the Olympics this year))))

10:17 Tian Tao clean pulls with the bar above his little fella and even bounces off of it. Li Dayin pulls with the bar right under the balls. Like a soft bumper as a stopping point for the bar.

Both Shi and Tao are coming back from injury. We don’t know how they are doing. Even if Shi is 100% I’m not sure he’d beat Rahmat. Tian Tao’s shoulder was killing him last fall hopefully it’s healed since operation. Li Dayin had torn calluses at worlds preventing him from doing his best, but that would heal more readily than shoulder. Dayin still has total record 396. If Tian is healthy and consistent I think he has better chances against Nassar but I think it will be Karlos’s day in Paris. It could be reminiscent of 1980 when Vardanian beat the total of the next highest weight class.

Tao is a show boy, I wish he don’t speak english…he would make more entertained stuff in between bombing out😂😂😂

As an 89 Tian Tao has managed to tie the 180kg WR snatch Li Dayin made at the Asian Games, and he made a 222kg at one point WR clean and jerk. If he could do both at one meet we would set a 6kg world record with a 402kg total. IMO Tian Tao is the strongest 89 just not the most consistent 89.

@@SomeSeriousWeight Tian was like 93 kg when he did the 180 at Asian Games. They were both in the 96 kg category.

i think everything depend on Shi Zhiyong shape in the next world cup, if Shi Zhiyong make a great numbers and he reach Paris, neither Tian Tao nor Li Dayin go to Paris, Li Fabin, Shi Zhiyong and liu huanhua, Karlos "the juice" Nazar has to much drugs, sorry i'd like to see advantage over the other lifters

They can only send 3 athletes per gender, it is likely li fabin and liu huanhua will be sent because they are almost a guaranteed gold which is the safe play. Leaving 1 slot left to send so they have to make a decision between shi zhiyong, li dayin, and tian tao. However it is most likely an 89kg will be sent

@@hyoshida55 Allegedly, according to Weightlifting House, Chen is cutting to 61 for Thailand to attempt beating Li Fabin.

It will be li, he’s still number 1 in the rankings and who knows where shi is at with his training and recovery from injury. Shi at the moment is more likely to lose to rahmat then li is to karlos

@@user-fh2vt9gm7i Tian Tao nicked Heart Attack was from His Fans who saw him Missed 2 Opener Lift Snatch and Clean&Jerk on Olympics Rio 2016 but somehow managed Last Lift with Heavier Weight to secured Win and that Competition wasn't only the one he did Heart Attack

Neither will go to Paris Olympic Games because neither has high chances of getting the gold, thus it would be much more logical for China to rely on a sure gold in another weight category to get more total golds per country and stay higher in the medals ranking by country as usual.
