I'm not religious, don't believe in god but I'd be a liar to say "God Needs me More" didn't get me. What an amazing little man (because he sounds like more of a man than I). Passing on love in the honor of this amazing little guy and his family... This is humanity at its finest.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. We are not supposed to bury our kids. Unfortunately, it happens. Your small spur of the moment act of kindness was & is inspirational. Being able to help anyone in any capacity is certainly a honor. No matter how big or small. It is something i was raised to believe in & something i hope to pass onto my children. The world would be in much better shape.

Tom- sorry I'm so late in seeing your video. You and Jayden are my life heroes. As an Ohioan we jokingly say that Michiganites are the enemy, but this video has knocked me silly, and I want to say I have great love for you and for the memory of Jayden. Gosh, what an angel of a boy. And you what an angel of a dad. I'm at a loss for words. Words are not effective enough to explain what this video has done to me. Best wishes moving forward. It would be an honor to meet you one day.

I love Chinese lanterns! They are so cool and whimsical. I would love to take a hot air balloon ride but that will never happen. These are the the next best thing! If only people could remember that God needs them. To help someone with groceries, to give someone a hug, to give a little extra to a homeless person! We’ve become so selfish and entitled anymore that it’s hard to imagine that there’s actually kindness to be seen. Glad these folks are realizing it. And Daddy, put your faith in the Lord. He will ease the relentless ache in your heart!

2 Samuel 12:19 But when David saw that his servants were whispering together, David understood that the child was dead. And David said to his servants, “Is the child dead?” They said, “He is dead.” 20 Then David arose from the earth and washed and anointed himself and changed his clothes. And he went into the house of the Lord and worshiped. He then went to his own house. And when he asked, they set food before him, and he ate. 21 Then his servants said to him, “What is this thing that you have done? You fasted and wept for the child while he was alive; but when the child died, you arose and ate food.” 22 He said, “While the child was still alive, I fasted and wept, for I said, ‘Who knows whether the Lord will be gracious to me, that the child may live?’ 23 But now he is dead. Why should I fast? Can I bring him back again? I shall go to him, but he will not return to me.”

I always wondered about all the litter these balloons leave when they fall to the ground and if fires have ever started by them. And then you have to think of the wildlife that come in contact with them. This is a lovely gesture, of course, but it does have some consequences.
