On My Own Les Miserables Authentic Orchestral Karaoke (full version)

Музыка

Get the mp3 files at www.karaokejoeful.com
My authentic orchestral instrumental karaoke (no voice) rendition of "On My Own" from Les Miserables. I am a composer and producer who creates music for film and television. I enjoy producing the most realistic sounding renditions of orchestral music. This version of "On My Own" is incredibly authentic and has an absolutely realistic orchestral sound. Broadway / recording quality.
The song begins with authentic orchestral sounds, but there are a few sections in the score that call for the use of a "synthesizer" keyboard pad sound. Specifically heard as the underscore behind the first verse of the main song "On my own, pretending ..." etc. This is intended to sound synthy, and the real strings come in at the second verse.
Enjoy. This level of realism takes a painstaking amount of time and effort. The high quality MP3 is available for use. Contact me for details.
Les Miserables by Alain Boublil, Claude Michel Schoenberg, Herbert Kretzmer, Jean-Marc Natel

I prefer this tempo. I had a very wise teacher once tell me not to treat On My Own like a ballad. The uptempo makes all the difference.

I would have asked this sooner, but my audition is tomorrow. I hope you don't mind me using this. :) I'm also going to(hopefully soon!) post a cover of this on my channel, and once I do I will give you full credit for this awesomeness. Thank you so much for posting this!!!!!!! -Pond

This is fantastic. I play this on the piano, but it helps to practice voice alone and I hated the traditional karaoke version. Thanks!

This song reflects my life, I sing this song & cry, my best friend Bernie, has a girlfriend named Sydney, ever since he met her, he acted like I was invisible, I walked in the streets at night, all alone, with no one to comfort me, some times I think of Bernie, & it warms me, I know that he is blind, but I still say, there's a way for us, my entire life I thought a knight in shining armor would come & sweep me off my feet, & take me to his dream Castle.

I have sung this song many times because I love it. This video is awesome and so the music is perfect. Just have to know "when to come" in at the start. Otherwise, singing it just gets better and better.

I'm singing this for my choir final :) some people are already telling me not to do it because I might butcher it, but the they're prisses and preps and they've never given me the light of day to show them that I can do so much more than just boring choir music :) I think I'm ready to finally put them in their places :P

Yes! I've seen and heard the original stage version and it wasn't this fast -- it's a song of longing and jealously -- some of the parts are slower, like when she's self-reflecting.

Hey, your instrumentals are so real, and beautiful. Are you going to upload the full soundtrack? I'm making a mini series of les mis for my senoir project that mixes the book in more with the musical, and i personally loved the real sounding instrumentals of the movie, which yours do very well. So if you could at least do a version of a little fall of rain that's closer to the movie verion, with the intro of course, that would be amazing. I love these videos, best on youtube!
